Always keep a lighter on you mate even if you don’t smoke need it for any situation especially when it’s cold and the locks freeze you can either light it n move it in circles around the lock n warm it up or heat the whole metal bit of the key up until it’s proper warm/hot then put it in the key hole and leave it a few seconds and it will melt the ice instantly had that problem when was out fishing on my motorbike and worked perfect for the lock on the box👌👌

windscreen always gets icy inside in all cars when you take snow in with your shoes. Just you the ice scraper or parking disc. Windscreen washing fluid is normally much cheaper in auto speciality stores or lidl and it's good 'til -35C.

Mark unfortunately you'll have issues travelling to the US if you now have an Iraqi stamp on your passport. You can't use the visa waiver programme and will need to apply for a visa proper. Just a heads up in case you're going there any time soon.

Regarding the pants debate, I personally think it depends upon whether they have skid marks and if you dribble pee or not. If it’s a no to both I’d say 4 days, or at least that’s how long I go when I’m touring on my bike where luggage space is seriously limited. Only other exception is if you’re sweating a lot, then it’s 2 days maximum to avoid crutch rot.😂

Great video. The only thing I don't understand is why you didn't do a check and overhaul of the entire car before the big trip. If there were parts to replace why didn't you replace them. 300,000 miles is not a small mileage. At that mileage, you can only expect something to break (something to break). Especially if it's not maintained properly.
