My family has been building custom VW bug bodied sand rail cars for years and they figured out that a square hole cut in the floorboards with a plexiglass panel over it makes doing wheelies much more fun! They also had independent breaking for each rear tire so they could control it that much more while in the air!

That particular car is around the ballpark of a half a million I believe. There is a few other heavy hitters out in glamis with multiple cars as well. 1badtoyfactory just built a new car that’s sequential but also can turn into a paddle shifter car. The entire transmission housing is made of billet. I talked to the guy at the sand sport show who did all the machine work for it. Told me the car cost roughly $750,000.

I was so curious and anxious to see what the biggest and baddest on those dunes were because even after seeing some of those nice units I knew those weren’t quite it. I’m super stoked to finally see the true monsters and see their super cool owners.

Best of both worlds, I bet the versatility of a big horsepower buggy similar to Blake’s would fun for Cleetus. He did well in the stadium trucks, maybe Robby Gordon, Blake, or even Vaughn could invite him out to do some more desert stuff.
