Mee Korat is wonderful! I just wish it would gain global recognition the way Pad Thai did.

Beautiful video. Love the way you document the complexity of the ingredients and preparation techniques that go into a single plate of noodles. Imagine having a menu with 10 dishes like that and then hiring a teenager to cook the food.

That's my hometown. the noodle we called Pad Meeh. The fermented fish sauce is depend on brand or homemade how is your flavor as some are too salty and strong smell but some are no smell and not too salty. I'm glad you're enjoy in Korat and made me miss my hometown too as I have been away from my country for over 5 years.

Boy, Korat has sure grown since I was there in the early '90's. Food was great then and I'm sure it's at least as good now. I really want to get back to Thailand . . .

Thank you Gary for another great video. I appreciate the way you record the cooking process and ingredients. Also you describe the taste perfectly. I will crack this recipe. 😂. To the guy that question your channel name, this is how Gary cooks so he’s truly a roaming cook. Merry Christmas Gary and your lovely family. What’s Finley’s favorite dish so far in Issan series?

Great vid Gary, unfortunately most tourists will never venture to Isan, not their fault, Its not the easiest to get there for those unfamiliar with Thailand. For those that have travelled Thailand extensively or live there its a must go to
