Great video as usual. Love your humor. I just sold my late 2021 MYP last week and last Saturday I picked up my new Model S long range in the ultra red color and I love it. The 15000 in price reduction and the free color was unbeatable in my opinion. It is 3" wider in the back as compared to the Y, but 2" shorter. It has plenty of room for a family of five and the range of 405 miles helped in making up my mind. Like the MYP, it comes with staggered tires, but the adaptive suspension which is adaptive and ranges from 5 1/2 to 8" in height. Check out the S long range prior to making your decision on the X. The mechanical falcon doors may result in headaches.

Wow, I didn't know the height went up to 8". That's definitely more than the MY. I have a 22 MYP and love it, but I would prefer to trade it in for an S or X. Unfortunately, I bought it at the peak for 64k, and there's no way I'll get a fair amount for it, with all the inventory available. 😢

@Teddy_M85 as soon as I test drove the model s long range. I knew that it was for me. The insane mode was fun as well. The service center I saw it at had a mountain bike with the wheels on in the back, with the rear seats down. You definitely need to test drive it, but that could be dangerous 😳

That is one of the busiest superchargers in the country, its right of the I10 between LA and Phoenix, you should see it on holiday weekends lines around block almost to the freeway on ramp at the old one by the carls jr

Hey Gjeebs, can you do a follow up video to this where you visit this same supercharger site in the Friday/Saturday evening? It'd be interesting to see how many of them would be used at that time. I heard that Tesla vastly expanded this site because it was roughly the midway point between LA and Phoenix. Take your wife for some more funny commentary. So instead of being at an empty supercharger, it'd be nice to see how many of them are being used, and to see why Tesla felt they had to vastly increase the size of this area.

Tesla Model X. We have a 2018 100d and love it! We bough it used from Tesla for half the price of what it cost new. Don't bother with the FSD -- way too expensive. Put that money aside for your baby's college entrance fee! There are some perks: software upgrades; the CAMP, DOG and KEEP climate modes; the Infotainment System; Enough room to fit a twin-size bed in the back (with the 5-seat conversion with seats folded down. Can't do this with the six & seven seaters)! --- just to mention a few! Love it! You won't be sorry!

Hardware 4 Model Y (2023) owner here.... not impressed with HW 4 so far. Lots of weird "loading" or "unavailable" messages (didn't have those on my 2021 Model Y) and the lack of sonar really screws up the tight garage parking.

This isn't the biggest. The biggest is in San Francisco, and it has 98 supercharger ports, nicely powered by diesel fuel generators. I guarantee there's not enough solar to power all 80 superchargers. It's likely diesel powered too.

My vote is Model S Plaid with track package. After that, the 3 refresh, with aftermarket stalks, or SEXY buttons to put it in drive/reverse. Using just the screen can be dangerously slow in u-turn / 3 point turn situations.

The chill, average, and aggressive modes also change follow distance. There isn't an official mapping but aggressive is probably around 2, average is around 4, and chill is probably 5-6

He's said in several videos the white seats have held up really well after 60k miles. The only real negative with white seats is that your more exposed, people can see you in the car easier. Just a thought if you tend to prefer privacy vs good looks. Also the white is better for reflecting heat.

Model Y is the best model. Mine: Model Y performance, blue, white interior, 2022. They could improve it but it's still great. Buying another model Y? Wait for a refresh which must be coming with the year or so. Biggest site? I don't buy it. The Barstow outlets is huge and so is Baker. They don't appear to update the Supercharger map information on the station stats. 20 at Barstow outlets and 40 at baker? I don't think so.

I used to use quartzite as my guide to. It another Tesla. I used to have a p85 model S and would go to Palm Springs or LA. There used to be 6 chargers. You should have gone over to the lame electrify america site. Don’t buy a rivian until they can charge at Tesla
