I DYED MY NATURAL HAIR ( Fail!! ) | Creme of Nature Lightest Blonde Dye

Hey Guys!!!
I decided to dye my hair from Black/ Burgundy to Blonde. I used the Creme of Nature Lightest Blonde Dye. Yall this did not turn out how I expected it to. What do yall think lol! I realized two mistakes I made, I should have stripped the burgundy out of my hair first and when applying the dye you always do the roots last. Word to Brad Mondo! But don't worry I will fix it. I also apologize for my awkwardness lol! How do you guys like the new intro? Stay tuned for the next video which will be on how I fixed it.

Idk if you ever found out why it did this(and I'm posting just in case someone else doesn't know this) but if you had box dye/color on the hair shaft from where the pink-orangish part happened, that's why. Closer to the root where it turned yellow was where your uncolored virgin hair was. When using a lifting agent, the hair releases the color molecules. Unfortunately, hair holds on to those in the warmer spectrum. Like red. So even if you had dyed your hair like a warm brown years ago, dyed it black 50 times, etc., when that lifting agent hit, everything except the red undertone fell out. even stripping it may not get all the red out. You would have to neutralize it with the opposite color on the color wheel (green) which is usually found in ash blonde dyes.

Its either you had something on it previously if not these are the stages of lifting I used the same one my ends went ginger and the crown and top blonde and now going to a professional salon they said its the stages of lifting when hair is dark and it will require more than one lift the box bleach is not strong enough to lift alot of levels so you need to get the powder bleach and mix it with developer to get the hair alot lighter because the powder bleach is much stronger the option i would go for is lifting it again with stronger bleach or getting red ken brunette lights and neutralising the orange

you should put a brown hair dye on it now. the reddish undertone your hair has now will make sure that the brown doesn’t turn green but will stay rich and golden toned!

I screwed up with my dye. I used the same box color you used and my hair came out like an orange/gold. I had to leave the house looking a mess 🤦🏾‍♀️ I just went to Sally’s to get toner for my hair. I’m gonna tone it tonight. After I edit my videos I will post my results. Wish me luck! 😭

Happened to me too ...Every one loved it...I eventually got used to it and it changed colors on its own.
