LOVE this game! Now just imagine this combined with a world like GTA (Or Mafia, or any other crime game like these titles). Build your own 'legitimate' city, funded by the massive crimes you commit in the already excisting city and building your own empire. Almost like a roleplaying server, but not too serious. A place where people can choose to be criminal or a legitimate construction worker! I love thinking about these concepts, does anyone know a subreddit where people talk about this type of thing??

A detail that I noticed REGARDING A SIMILARITY BETWEEN GTA 5 AND CS; if you're running in Construction Simulator and you immediately run in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION, it does the same camera and character movement as you would see in GTA 5! COULD CONSTRUCTION SIMULATOR BE LORE TO GTA 6?!

Drae, you can buy and sell materials straight from your machines menu. You don't have to travel all the way to selling/buying point. Also you can fast travel and I know it costs some money but after 1 big contract you won't have to worry about such costs and you can finish them without leaving construction sites

Hey Drae, I have a suggestion for the flow of your videos. I was thinking it would be fantastic if instead of hard cuts when doing activities (like the bulldozing at the start of the video) Maybe do a 5 or 10 second time lapse or something, that way we would get to see you doing the job without having to watch an extra 10 mins of footage. Just an idea as I always wish I could see you do everything :)

Pro Tip: When excavating a spot, dump it into the dump truck and "empty" it by selling the soil via the context wheel for easy thousands if you are hurting for money

For spreading materials such as gravel, the regular dump truck is better. It's easier to control how much is coming out. The articulated dump truck is better for just transporting materials, like when you are excavating, since it can hold more. Also, if you want to do more of the work, change the 'Job Scope' to high on the screen that you see all the tasks (before you accept the contract). You will also get paid more for the extra work, for most jobs at least.

In regards to your dump truck that is called a rock truck. Mainly used in mining and gravel pit work, so larger objects in the back. That is why you kept losing your load, the back isn't meant to completely seal for sand or soil.

Also the best purchases I've used the most so far is the dump truck, cement truck, dozer, crane, and excavator. Also as you get onto bigger jobs, I suggest also purchasing a trailer and semi with crane attached

Drae in your vehicle manu you can buy and sell gravel there so you don't have to drive to the construction site to get it and using a controller might be easier for some missons 😊👍

@@MSzat888 It's not much more expensive. I compared between manual loading and using the menu and it's maybe a couple thousand bucks more so there's no reason to actually go to the plants unless you want to.

So be playing this for a while, buy a dump truck, it's useful especially when you do the park garage quest for innovative technologies. Dump truck good because you can dig out soil, gravel, and sand. You put it in the dump truck after digging and can sell the material. It will also allow you to fill up on site rather than drive to the site as well as selling it

You can use the interaction menu where you change modes to automatically fill concrete and gravel vehicles without having to go to the plant! Hope this helps!

Just thought I'd say this in case you see it. But the tailgate on the truck lifts with the bad. So if the bed is up AT ALL the gate will be open depending on how far up the bed is.
