I don't know where to start in this dub. Sentai Filmworks and Hidive (dubbing company for Sentai) are known for making questionable casts in some certain dubs and Bandori is no exception. Here are some points which made it bad: - Yukina, Sayo and Lisa sound like middle aged moms whilst Ako lacks the chunnibyou personality in this dub (Rinko's English voice actor, Cynthia Martinez, is okay since I feel like Nonchan, the new replacement for Rinko's seiyuu, doesn't fit her very well) - Kokoro in this dub sounds like a stereotypical rich girl from an American movie, while Hagumi is just as bad sounding like a tomboy. Kanon feels out of place as well. - I have nothing to say for Pasupare but they lack emotion. - Moca sounds like an emo while Tsugumi and Ran sounds like a mom just like the other Roselia members. - Because of how bad this dub was made, JubyPhonic, the voice of Kasumi received backlash from the media despite trying her best. The only good cast from this dub is none other than, Raise a Suilen. The cast did a good job, especially to Molly Searcy (voice of Masking) and Hilary Haag (Voice of Chu2). Being a Brittney Karbowski fan I am is also one of the reasons I am a Rokka simp. Layer's voice is perfect for her matured behavior, though Pareos voice needs improvement as she sounds like Ariana Grande. To sum it up short, it's just your typical Hidive cast. Bad and filled with questionable cast. This is from a review of an English dub fanatic.
