aight so the way guns work in stalker is whenever you change sights, it actually removes your gun's model and replaces it with one that has the sight you picked on it. when it does that the fire mode defaults to full auto.

These mods are wild. I just loaded Gamma again and set off as a Loner. On the hunt for basic tools so I’m just doing missions to build up some quick capital before I set out into the zone. Go to parking in Cordon to do another round of bandit clean-up, like I’ve already done several times. Headshot the bandit and out of one of the buildings runs three Mercs…… I had no idea Mercs could set up shop at parking in Cordon. I’ve seen Freedom there. Usually just one guy standing amongst the Bandits, but Mercs just kind of threw me. Just another day in The Zone. Now if I could get some tools and fix the lovely weapons they dropped for me, I’d be set. They stopped coming back to parking so no more Merc drops in Cordon. Not long after that, I get a message saying Monolith was seen in Cordon. My head canon says Qloud has entered Cordon with his band of merry Monolith. On another note. The Swamp has been kind with all the Winchester drops. The unfortunate part is I can’t really do much until I get tools. So yay.

If you manage to find the Barret 82 somewhere, take it: it's the best gun in the game. It pretty much one shots even the toughest human enemies at any range

In GAMMA bandits would zerg rush to you after first shot. It was comical to see swarm of them flooding your position. Quite a scary moment for ill prepared characters...
