So, if I'm evil on the stands specifically because I was found out legitimately by a towny, I'm like "yeah, that's good", but SO many times do I get attacked as evil by another evil, that evil then RANDOM pushes me, and the ENTIRE TOWN is so braindead that they follow blindly. This happens to me when im inno too. So many times do evils push me knowing I could kill em, and the townies just follow blindly without even questioning it. I don't call players bad if they find me legitimately, I call players bad if they random push off an evil, even after getting the info that those people are evil xD And like, yeah I understand no one knows my role and that they don't know if I'm lying or not, but in any sense, even if I have a solid alibi, all it'd take is a single evil to push me and I'm dead. For example, one game I was SK in coven any all. I claimed survivor. I got attacked n1 after vesting, and I immediately called out surv claim, attacked n1. Well, evil proceeds to then push me even though It is an extremely possible situation. Got pushed to the stand and exclaimed that they were probably pushing me because they attacked me, and think I'm another evil. But of course, when you have 4 evils all screaming to guilty, vs me who is pleading with townie to please listen, you don't stand a chance. I agree with your statement, unless it's in situations were the town is ACTUALLY braindead, cause it's happened while I was inno too, and then they completely forget/ignore my calling out the evils, who end up actually being evil. LOL

Witch was claiming med to jailor. You can see it in their will after they're hanged, and jailor literally says 12 was vouching for 1. So not quite as dumb as you're making them out to be.

@@RestlessThoughts there was no claim space for a medium PLUS only claimed medium to jailor which is a hella sus thing to do as a measly med claim. Jailor was throwing the whole game anyway so he was mainly the one to blame for the shenanigans. Life lesson- never trust a med claim

This shows the value in having a real will for roles like Vig, Mayor, Ret, etc.... even if there's no real info on it, keeping track of everyone's claims and the like shows that your will isn't a list of four possible fake claims you're still choosing between.

I don't play this game yet, but seeing and sussing out the thought process of the other players (and our protagonist) is incredibly fascinating. Obviously we're going in to this with both preknowledge that Pipe is both quite deeply knowledged and experienced at this game, as well as a biased data set since throwaway games don't make the cut, but seeing Pipe' mind snag on one otherwise small detail (a player direct contacting the about them being transporter) instantly gives him the wrong vibe, and causes him to immediately demand to know who the other player was, and then noting purely by behavior that the one detail basically exposed basically all but one of the rest of the mafia. I can say that personally, I would definitely be suspicious in the same situation, but in a game like this i'd be inherently suspicious of any one who directly contacted me out of the blue for basically any reason and almost certainly wouldn't have had the sense to immediately demand further details to cross-verify against what else was known.
