You can consume water and air directly from storage containers, you don't have to transfer them onto your person to be able to use them. This applies later in the game for other stuff too.

best base location IMHO near the ice cave is another cave build just out side the cave as the cave has osmium and uraninite you can extract with a t1 extractor, zeolite is close by so is bauxite through a nearby rock arch, dolomite can extracted anywhere with t1 and sulfur can be extracted with t3 later on. its close to late game discoveries like the caves.

osmium is found in the ice cave, those frozen ponds have it inside them, just gotta wait till they thaw, also super alloy can be found if you go through the sulphur fields and keep left, they are on the floor around where you saw the first dome from

Blitz im pretty sure power is global , you should be able to deconstruct and then rebuild the solar panels and windmills your finding at the destroyed bases and it counts as you placing them and counts to your base power

When putting stuff in your storage just hit the arrow on the bottom right of the resource and it will put all of that one kind in the storage..you also have super alloy in the ice cave and on top of it once your get a jet pack

There is no level progression in this game if you can reach it you can go there. There are environmental progression restrictions however.

Loved age of empires still do love it. They've made some amazing games but I will be honest, the best way to play these games is on a PC. Haven't tried the mobile one, but given the limited controls it will most likely suffer from the same problems. The console does a delay in being able to access things in real time on the screen because of the limited controls whereas PC. You can easily fly around the world with your mouse, clicking on units and using hotline keys to move whole armies without having to look at them
