ngl this deck (or at least a version similar to the one mbt played on stream the other month) got me really into edison. the fact that a fixed format lile this can have decks come out of nowhere and a format comstantly shifting is so cool to me. it strikes that perfect balance between goat and current. games are fast, but not done in 2 turns, and dont usually go on for ever like goat.

I was the norleras player in match one, here were my thoughts: for game 1 plague was in hand so i couldn’t send it with arma knight which would have been the play, and we both missed that double normal summon but im pretty certain i was going to lose anyway for game 2, i wasn’t on tempest and I will be now cause I just totally forgot about it. keegan is i think right about the heavy storm being a misplay, i only did it because i lose that game if he had a book of moon set but should have known he wasn’t on it. in retrospect it would have been good to pitch the gorz with grepher when i had it to bin another vayu since i had decree set and I wouldn’t have been in a top deck scenario after norleras eff. game 3 I 100000% should have sided that ehren out for jain. my deck struggles against 1800+ monsters and that would have at least got rid of the dark valk if not also got him to use the gemini spark. it was definitely still anyone’s game but it definitely was a mistake in how i sided but a fun match and good learning experience!

I remember when I first started playing again in 2010. I bought 3 of the warrior structure decks that had all the gemini cards in it. I tried so hard to make it work as a kid but just ended up switching to another deck. Glad to see that someone found a way to make it work to the extent of it being able to top big tournaments!

26:57 tip for this situation, should flip offering on the last monster attack and pay 1000 to summon soldier and give it the effect. If they swing in you get a free monster and it will save you the damage (especially since he had no hidden info at this point.) Haven't watched the whole thing either but gemini spark can only tribute level 4 monsters in case you don't notice

One cool card I really want to try make work withing some gemini framework is Chthonian Emperor Dragon, it's a 2400 beatstick that can attack twice once normalled again and I really want to see if there's some otk setups that can be made with it.

Most of the times you setdown starlight road as your second card. Most players do that, even back in the day. So I mst, ryko or cauis the second card and then heavy or blackrose.

Look. Gemini have access to monster reborn, which can be broken. Swing of memories destroys things. But with blazewing and giga normally leave the field. Also. You misplayed a bit with the deck. But thats normal. Since the deck is complex by nature. I used to playe it back then. Game 1 you should have gone for chavelllier, sent vise. Brought dark valk. Atk with chav. Gorz token with giga. 500 summon valk blown gorz. Save blazewing in your hand. Coz it wouldv replenished your board next turn. Game 2. You shouldv ss nettles sync 8. Normal blaze. Trib for giga. 500 summon. Bring back blaze. Atk. With soldier. Bring another blaze. Frog normally dont sweep as much. You would pass the board with 2 blaze giga soldier synch 8 soldier. And wouldv been able to rebuild your board. With a single blaze. Waboku is better than threatening. Since it triggers soldier. Remember. Swing of memories plus ulti offering or vise is game changing.

I believe there are three monsters in the format that can be 3 tribute sets, that being: The Wicked Avatar/Dreadroot/Eraser. If he was playing one of these, that would have been absolutely wild. I think Gemini is really cool, however I really do like that new Fairysworn list (the one without the JDs) you made a few weeks back; I think that would be heat to test out irl.

This version is probably better than mine since I'm not a great builder (just not a fan of plants lol), but I decided to go for a Dark Simorgh build, taking advantage of cards like Flying Kamakiri (additional search for Soldier) and Featherizer to set up the GY with Gemini's (and the +1 draw is nice). Will do a profile eventually on my channel. Also, have you considered using Reinforce Truth as a budget E-tele in other decks? Jutte Fighter is an option for LV2 Tuner, but I recently came across Torapart which is a kinda cool one. You can only get out Warrior Snychros with it (So Colossal, Urbellum, Goyo, and Gaia) but it gives them trap immunity during their attacks. It's a Dark which is why I'm interested in trying to see if it's worth using.

This is one of the few decks that can play it with impunity. It is a good meta call, nearly every deck uses a banishing mechanic or card so you usually get at least a 1 for 1, if not more. It is easy to side out against the matchups that it wont help with.
