Actually there are two tipes of humour in your eye. Vitreous is like jelly (so yes you are right) and is the most abundant, while aqueous humor (im not english so not sure this is spelled right) is more watery and is what is just behind the cornea (the transparent outer layer) and the crystalline. Both have their importance.
