Anyone gonna talk about the elephant sized bushes? The rocks that must be stories tall? The grass the size of the elephants legs? Also, let us not forget, the elephant sized egg. Also, not to be a downer, but realistically, they would break their neck over time if they used it as a whip. Also, the long neck is much easier to grab, meaning predator's can easily get the neck, and because it is so thing, decapitate Long Boy. And for Wide Boy, it could easily be caught up to, and killed because of its shape. It would not be quick enough, nor have any defenses to prevent this.

I feel like Spore is perfect, but it just needs that TINY bit of detail to feel like a legitimate game. Broken animations, variety in homeworlds, some visual effects (especially lighting effects just being images and not actual light). And that's what makes it hard to make an actual Spore 2, because there's so much yet so little to actually change.

@@cobinasaur I feel like the creature creator could be optimized. I'd love some categorization for creatures outside of their diet, things that would affect their behaviors and environments. On my game I've created a bunch of animals that I would intend to have as tribal species and higher; and I've created several species I intend to be wild animals, but there's no real way to determine that. Expanding city and tribal stage could be a possibility as well adding more features like a farming system in tribal and a fuller fledged economy in city stage.

6:03 oh my god, I’m so sorry. I think I MADE that spider (a billion years ago when I played and the game was active)! His race eventually evolved into incredibly high jumping sentient tarantulas that took to the stars and took up being merchants. I also created the rulers of the known universe, the Amarallians, which were evolved from the little purple anteater guy on the cover of the game. At their peak they befriended the Grox, has war declared on them by the universe, made peace with the entire universe, then backstabbed the Grox into extinction. Unfortunately they were ultimately locked away deep within the core of the universe.
