I may have called it that Zoraxis knew where you were, or that the next mission would be a trap, but holy shit that transition. It was instantly obvious from the perfectly off kilter “narrator” voice, but that reveal man, that was nothing short of pure blooded menacing. Will Wheaton’s impersonation of the narrator was just off enough that that slow translation to a surprisingly cold John Juniper was just so chilling. Props to Wheaton! Edit: That next mission name is some awesome foreshadowing. A major step up from the last game.

Yep, pretty sure it was. If you look closely at the Agency logo in Ep.0 you can see the corners of the white fake wall behind it (and also there is clearly a camera lens in the middle of it)

Yes. Note that it's the "Present Day", i.e. the same day as the tutorial, and the bomb disposal unit has been used. Juniper-as-the-Handler gave us our briefing, gassed us (but note that he's _trying_ to sound like he wasn't expecting the sleeping gas can), and then we woke up at "Headquarters", which is actually his sound-stage in Hungary. Then he took us through the tutorial, pretending that the Agency had rescued us from the van trap and that we were being tested to ensure we were still okay, gassed us again, and when we woke up that time he allowed our super-spy instincts to take over and dismantle his intentionally somewhat shoddy ruse for the climactic "You're in my trap!" reveal. "If Zor just wants us alive so he can see us, why not just have us wake up from the van trap tied to a chair, in front of the camera, already in the death trap?" I'm not entirely sure, from a story perspective, at least. The best I can think of is it's partly Juniper's flair for the dramatic, and partly an attempt at _stalling_ you so, if you _do_ escape, you have as little time as possible to stop Zor's big announcement and the deployment of "The Peacemaker".

@@LetsSTFUandPlay Also, if you compare the handler’s voice in the room from later in the van, Juniper’s impression sounds slightly slower than the voice later in the van, not enough to tip off first time watchers, but just enough to alert those watching on the second pass.

@Anastas1786 Just one note: It's my assumption that Agency HQ actually is in Hungary. Juniper's stage could be anywhere, we were gassed and kidnapped. The Phoenix (we, the player, who are presumably the ones annotating the map a the end of every mission) would've marked his intended destination, not where we actually ended up. Edit: although I just checked and we don't make any changes to that point on the map after this level. Huh. Guess they're both in Hungary..?

Honestly, unpopular opinion; *I despise John Juniper.* Well, his voice-acting, at least. Always acts so irrationally bemused at our success, the jet stint being a prime example. Like, c’mon, ripping something off a wall & using a touchscreen aren’t insurmountable obstacles. Unless you have a habit of ignoring your plane designers. And Not-Q isn’t much better, constantly elongating quips to unnecessary extremes, such as the jet, or explaining very, *very* obvious plot points (Fabricator’s Workshop). Still, can’t just mercilessly berate a quality product, so I will admit the puzzles are on par with the first game, which is commendable. And the Fabricator’s lines are tolerable at worst. ..Do wonder if Hivemind will make another appearance, though.
