This is exactly what I said two weeks ago after the Fulham match on ESPN FC. That Mareska is as inexperienced as the players and learning in real time. You can make All the analysis you want the glaring issue is simple. Jackson was scoring goals earlier in the season now he’s missing 2-3 sometimes 4 glaring chances a game. Thats Litterally the whole issue. I can’t believe everyone cant see it. The reason Maresca isn’t making changes is because Chelsea have been the better team in all these games chasing the winner. What exactly do you change when you’re dominating the game but keep missing chances and you don’t have a goascorer on the bench. What change do you make? The issue is simple Jackson has begun missing chance after chance like he did last season and Chelsea are going games without killing teams off and the opposition team wil always grow confidence and come back when you don’t finish them. Which of the last 4 games would you say Chelsea were not the better team in? I genuinely don’t even think Liverpool outplayed Chelsea at anfield the issue is Chelsea are just not scoring the chances Chelsea create and Jackson is mostly responsible for that. He is the biggest problem right now the last 4 games

This is the best panelist which have objectivity addressed Chelsea's poor form. Lack of game management from the coach. 1 goal up is enough to give chelsea 3points in the 80th minutes for both Palace and Fulham games. But the coach couldn't strengthen his defense instead he brings in an attacker for an attacker when he knows that his opponents are pressing hard. Secondly, telling the everyone that you are not ready for title race seems you are limiting the confidence of the players and that really kills the spirit. After all, he has never managed a big team before.

This is exactly what I mentioned earlier when he was showing negativity every time someone asked him if Chelsea were title contenders. A good coach will never have that negative mentality. He should have played the mind games and said Yes we will try and that should have lifted the team too to play better. If you remember him what he said about his teams defense issues the game Chelsea won against Brentford he said if we can concede a goal like that where Mbuemo run through the Chelsea defense freely and scored a goal for Brentford Maresca said don't expect us to win anything if we can concede a soft goal like that and since then it has been teams going low block against Chelsea....Chelsea scoring one goal then getting punished when late on they are run through them like Mbuemo did and that's exactly what Fulham did....so it's combination of issues...no.1 being teas suffocating Chelsea of not geting a goal because Chelsea have a weaker attacking pressure when u compare them with Liverpool and Arsenal who have a stronger attacking pressure from the middle from the wings and set pieces....Chelsea got a set piece specialist from Brentford but we haven't scored a single corner goal appart from the Southampton game

Very well earned point for Palace. Chelsea were miles ahead in those first thrity minutes and it's absolutely a different game if a second goal goes in during that period. Thankfully that didn't happen. Munoz and Sarr were superb again and key to netting the equalizer. That's 18 points and only two losses (4-6-2) since the third week of Oct. Glasner is getting good performances from a very thin squad.

Always knew he would be found out once teams started taking them serious and played low block. Chelsea try to sucker teams into a high intesity fast transition game to create a lot of space and they will blitz you doing that. The Wolves & Spurs games are very good examples. Once you play defensively and just stay patient they will concede because their defenders aren’t very good.

I think this formation exposes us for counterattack if the full back is not inverting to support Caicedo. Fernandez press very high and commits as well and don't recovery pace once beaten. Palmer doesn't press to much or press from a very advanced position and don't recover. But once we are 1-0 down and palace was coming back in the game maresca should have asked enzo to stay back with Caecido and play on counter attack
