I have to address something important here. India is such a big country that most of us Indians ourselves do not actually know how the country and its people are in the bigger picture. People talk and think differently from region to region. Vlogs like this not only help foreigners, but also help us to understand and know ourselves better. Thank you for your videos and your efforts.

One thing I have always admired about western travellers is their daring : despite their media’s constant negative Portrayal of India and other non western countries in general they r still open minded about exploring all the places. It’s that daredevil spirit that cause them to leave Europe and colonise far, distant and previously uncharted lands which were totally alien to their regular climate and conditions.

Hello Mr. Rover, welcome to Bangalore. Bangalore's metro aka local train as you mentioned is one of the best and on par with transit systems around the world. There's trains every 2-3 mins. You had to go to metro station to take the local train. Instead you went to regional or national railway station, which is is equivalent to Eurostar in Europe. Locals don't understand your accent - so they weren't able to help you out but Google map search would have helped you. So next time in India - for local train - ask for metro and for inter city travel - ask for train station. Good luck mate! Happy travel! :)
