Thank you very much, we feel England is often misrepresented on KZbin where people try to showcase the negatives over the positives showing decaying towns and high streets or poverty and destitution. Now of course we have those things but we are also an ancient land steeped in tradition, folklore, history and beauty and that is the side which is neglected in favour of showing the bad side for a few extra clicks. We're going to go against that grain and prove that England and indeed the UK has just as much to offer as any other country. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment 🙂

@@TeamMcGrathI feel the name is being said wrong as well. I swear it looks like the kind of spelling where you’d say Bottsford rather than bottesford. Did you hear a local say the name of the place?

I think you could be right to be fair, I was saying bott-is-fud...but then again that's probably down to my Peterborough accent haha. I'll have to look it up now, curious what the correct pronunciation is. Generally when I go abroad I try and learn the city names pronounced the local way, but didn't think about doing that for the UK. Some places in London get me haha, took me ages to get the pronunciation of Marylebone right haha! 😁😆

I typed in Bottesford pronunciation into Google and it pronounces the same as I did, also checked another video from Bottesford and they were pronouncing it the same too...I'm still with you though, given how our city and town names can be deceiving in their pronunciation in the UK I reckon you might still be right. Fingers crossed a local comes along and helps out haha!
