I much prefer this style of video to the 'shoot everything that moves' ones on many other channels. It reminds us that the RDO world is awesome and varied, and if you don't slow down to smell the roses sometimes you're missing out. One thing that bugs me is the tiller position on that steam barge. They should have made the tiller just a few inches taller, tall enough that you can stand upright to steer, or you'll get terrible backache very quickly. Just flipping the handle so it bends up instead of down would be enough. My favorite boat in the game is the steam launch, great visibility all round, fast and no need to 'pump the gas' to move. I hope one day they'll add purchasable boats, I don't like having to 'liberate' a boat every time I want one.

This is cool. One thing I was thinking about. Watching this, and your other videos makes one think RDO is a peaceful, relaxing online romp through the Western frontier. No griefers, hell, no players at all, and very few aggressive NPC's. I would love to have this much peace, once in a while. Not always, but once in a while. Rarely, but sometimes my good friend and I don't use magic travel(I have to beg cause she hates not magic traveling and I hate using the juju post)and we put on defensive and just explore. But, it's only when it's her and I, because we're both older and the young'ns can't ever sit still and not shoot something for 5min. I'm glad at least someone is able to relax more often than not. The other day, before she got off, we decided to go get hammered and chill in Blackwater. On the 3rd time passing out and returning, we were outside and a griefer rode up behind me and shot me in the back of the head and went AFK. That's my RDO experience.✌🏼

Hopefully my channel will begin to sway more players into calming down on the nonsense a bit so we can enjoy some peace of mind a bit more. This is similar to how I try and play (I am not always successful at enjoying the moment and not being task-driven), but you've done a fantastic job of transitioning it to the video format. I have to “remove” like 3 commercials before posting it. The average commercial placement for KZbinrs “manual” placement is about “every 5 minutes” on any video over 8 minutes... and that’s what I do also. I do agree with you and I wish the videos didn’t have any commercials at all, but it’s how (and why) we continue to work so hard to provide great content on KZbin! Awesome video Foxtrot! Why I think you really should keep making these videos: There are plenty of KZbinrs out there making RDRO videos on a daily basis and they have built up their channel based souly on this game. They have done all the 'how to' videos, best ability cards, best horses, best weapons, Role guides, easy money guides etc but because of the way you tube works, they have to put out new videos every day and they have put their eggs all in the RDRO basket, they have run out of content to put out every single day. They are tapped out but because they built their channel on RDRO and that's what their viewers want to see but R* isnt putting out content fast enough for content creators to consume and publish on a daily basis, these creators have resorted to negative videos, such as "RDRO is dead!" , "R* screws the pooch again" , "Players are unhappy!" and this is having a negative effect on the community. People watch these videos and think RDRO IS dead where in fact it really isnt, but these creators gotta put out something every day. right? Then there is you... making HIS OWN content, taking us on a journey, telling a story. It is so refreshing to see a RDRO content creator who has actual talent, imagination and likes to tell a story and is actually entertaining and doing much more good for the community than these other negative creators. I may not agree with all that you say in your videos but I do get lost in your immersive story telling. It's clear you actually love this game as we do. Stay positive and keep putting out these amazing videos :)

I was really nervous at first that no one would be interested in my (seemingly boring) video topics, but to my surprise there were many players out there who are. The island on Flat Iron Lake where the shipwreck is located...only place you can get crabmeat. (In Lagras you can buy crawfish...the only place you can get them as bait. Someone should tell Rockstar you can make fish, crab and crawfish stew with some extra ingredients...Lousianians would tell you that. And why can't you get onions, tomatoes and potatoes in RDR?)

There are actually crab dinner plates in Saint Denis which I feature in other videos and I think more should be done in the game with crabmeat. @Carl Frank Unfortunately these days I’m continually gathering content for KZbin videos, so I no longer have that normal “gameplay freedom” that I use to have. I’ve given up all of my online gameplay freedom to provide great “gameplay style content” to the world on KZbin LOL... which I do also continue to enjoy. I have considered doing small group videos, but just doing solo videos are fairly challenging, so any group players that I work with would have to be extremely patient to sit out the many long nights and often bad weather in the game to get those great shots. The “patience” to get the ideal content is by far the most challenging part of creating these videos for my channel because nights and bad weather come around so very often... so time is “never” on my side. 😉👍🏼

Your camera work is sooo seamless and beautiful, it's easy to forget how limited your options re: Cinematic View actually are! It's so dang....well? I want to say so bad that you have no idea what it takes to bring it all together... but obviously you do. 😳👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Besides the great control and cinematic angle shots, one of my biggest challenges is actually waiting out all the nights and bad weather every 10 minutes to get the entire videos to look like one beautiful day which I’m sure I mentioned to you before. It’s takes an incredible amount of patience which takes so many hours and days to create a 20 minute video. I don’t even know if the video is going to be a good video until I’m almost finished with it which is even more pressure, so my initial scenes have to be seamlessly on point. @Roger Blaylock Yeah it’s so much easier to grow in the game when your not trying so hard. You can see in my videos that I find so many collectibles when I’m exploring even when I’m not looking for them. Just do various solo stranger missions around the map occasionally and work your roles at a slow steady pace and just enjoy the journey. It’s much more fun to earn to buy things rather than “having everything” that you wanted already which eliminates any purpose for playing the game. Enjoy the survival of being broke LOL! 😁👍🏼

@Dal Grimm Thanks Dal… one major secret to my video content is that I wait hours (in real life) sitting through “bad weather” (in the game) and I try to only get content that are on almost perfect sunny days. Once in a while I use bad weather for certain needed scenes, but one of my most difficult challenges when creating my content is almost always waiting out bad weather in the game… and I believe that’s why my videos are so gorgeous and vibrant (in addition to setting the videos to 60fps). @Creole Pritch98 For the record, getting that boat of supplies to Thieve Landing “wasn’t” a real in game mission... it was just some good role play storytelling on my part. You can certainly grab that boat that I was on, but it’s “not” actually attached to any task or mission. It was just a story theme that I created for the video. You can get to the big steamboat with the same mission used to get to Sisika. OnlyPVPCat did some videos at those locations a couple weeks ago...

@HighTechGeek I understand. I really try to avoid playing in “off limit” areas that require glitching in my videos or on my channel because I try not to encourage it to players. I did a scene in Mexico as a cool videos closing scene, but I didn’t say anything in the video while I was there. Also, exploring Sisika Penitentiary would have taken the journey too far out of the water. But I have to agree that it could have been an interesting segment. 😏👍🏼

Excellent video! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into this. Great cinematic shots..Best I've seen in any RDR2 video. Do you mind my asking what side arm weapons and ability cards you use? Your shooting is very good and I really like the simplicity of not always having the long-arm rifles strapped to my character's back..It is a nicer look for the female character especially. @Never Forsaken My sidearm is a LeMat Revolver (and my second sidearm when I’m wearing “dual wield” is the Volcanic Pistol). And my ability cards are: Slow and Steady Winning Streak Gunslingers Choice Horseman All ability cards fully upgraded! But the key is to always keep your weapons full of “explosive ammo” once you reach level 90 for “one shot” griefer kills. NOTE: Use your explosive ammo on “griefers” ONLY! You must get use to constantly gathering animal fat from ducks, beavers, pigs, etc to craft explosive ammo, but it’s totally worth it! Thanks for the awesome feedback! 😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I like your videos! They’ve got wholesome vibes like other videos I’ve seen where people who like horses role play as equestrians using RDO. Do you go online in the normal fashion, or do you use the mtu to get a solo lobby?

@Mikaela Fox Other than my editing style, I play the game in the total normal fashion in the regular lobby using a PS4 with all default setting. I do use a special controller though that allows extra use of my camera angles during normal gameplay which frees up my thumb from the action button to the joystick. Thanks for the great feedback. 😁👍🏼
