You certainly traveled a scenic route. I don't think many understand what a large distance you covered. We camped out on Alstom Point one Forth of July. This was back when the lake was full. The houseboats down on the lake were shooting off fireworks and they exploded right out in front of us. Gunsight Butte was the backdrop. Up until that evening I had not seen fireworks from above. Surreal beauty! Keep working on the overlanding videos. We'll be watching ...

Yeah I covered a lot of miles. It cool to see so many places that only downside was that I didn’t have a lot of down time. Next trip will be a little shorter. Lake Powell on the 4th of July sounds amazing!!!

Very nice!! that area is loaded with all sorts of great vistas and hidden ruins, the Jacobs chair loop is a fun ride with a great dugway, some old trucks, Piute pass is great too, The butler panel rock art along the San Juan river is pretty amazing as well. Just lots of cool stuff there. A great friend hsa put together a Hwy 95 guide where he has tried every off shoot from Hwy 95 from Blanding to I 70 and documented it. Ive been trying to get him to publish it but hes to busy to take the time, and he's 80! Keep up the good work! Nice hat BTW, Lets ride!

Great video thanks for sharing! Looks like an awesome trip! I used to live in Arizona in my 20's and miss the wide open spaces of the west. I've been back in WI for many years but still try to get out west when I can. On a scale of 1 - 10 how would you rate your experience with the truck mounted tent? I've been looking at a lot of options since I bought my Mojave 2 years ago but have not pulled the trigger on any solutions yet. I like the clam style pop up campers but even the cheapest ones are a major investment for someone that only camps on occasion since my wife doesn't like camping. We usually opt for a hotel but I would rather remote camp. If I could find the right setup I think she may actually enjoy it. The one nice thing about staying in a hotel is that I can keep the Jeep very light for on trail and I don't have to overbuild it to handle a lot of weight. Anyway I've followed along with your journey and I'm really impressed with how you have build out your rig for your needs and how you use it. Are you still loving it now as much as you did when you first got it? Would you buy anything different if you were starting over today? Take care and keep the videos coming!

Thanks! I would give the tent a 6 or 7 out of ten. It was nice being off the ground, but you have to empty the bed every night and setting and breaking wasn’t as easy as a regular tent. One person can fit comfortably but two people would be tight. I don’t regret buying the Gladiator it opened up a whole nee world. There are definitely thing about the jeep that bug but there are way more positives than negatives to me.

Just did Hole in the Rock around Lake Powell last week. The area is definitely remote! Would have loved to do the trails you did! Hole in the Rock is more rock crawling rather than overlanding and is not a solo experience. I would prefer overlanding to rock crawling, but you've definitely done some rock crawling based on your videos.

Everywhere you look one great view after another. I spent a few weeks planning the trip. The most time consuming part was planning the route trying to estimate travel time etc… I shortened the route at the last minute which was a good decision because I was tight on time.

Another super remote area is North Eastern Nevada. White Pine, Elko, and Lincoln Counties .Probably more remote than south eastern Utah.

I’ve been on my trips in Colorado and Utah. I definitely want to get out to Nevada.
