The hamstring cramping at the end was probably from sliding on the mound early in the game. Being forced into the eccentric lengthening for several pitches can cause increased strain over time.

Hey Trevor another question: How does your arm feel after a start? Tight? Sore? How many days does this last and what do you do between starts to take care of any discomfort you might have? I threw about 30 pitches a few days ago and I don't feel sore or injured, just a little stiff still. Threw almost all fastballs and cutters (I LOVE your cutter, so sick when I throw it right) Thanks again!
