I've been MIA for a few weeks now, but I'm glad you accomplished so much during Camp Nano 🙌🏾 Fleshing out your character's voice is nooo joke, congrats! 😩 Your ending comments on failure were so relatable 🥺 I had big dreams when I was younger and I sorta transitioned away once I got more life experience 😅 All things considered, you're a talented writer with a community on Wattpad and KZbin that's rooting for you 🩷 Keep going, LDJ!

Thank you for the shout out!! It was fun having you in the stream chat writing with us! I think Camp Nano pushed a lot of us to our limits. I also missed my goal by a few thousand words but have realized that word count is not a good method of tracking revisions, so I have turned off my word count goals in scrivener and my mental state is much better for it! Also, if you ever want to hop on a live stream, let me know, and I will add you to the roster!

I agree with the other commenter, you are not a failure! You managed to write around forty thousand words in your manuscript. That’s a great accomplishment! Just keep pushing on 😁🤗 I like the writing vlogs you do, but experimenting is good too! Do what you enjoy the most on your channel. I’ll support you!

you absolutely crushed nano! I feel like any progress during nano is a success. It’s more words than you had before. & I’m so glad the livestreams were helpful for you!! you have an authortube friend in me🤍 you know I’d hop on any livestream you host (:

Missed my goal by 6k words lol, this makes me feel so much better though. Gonna keep writing!!! (Also keep doing the vlogs and commentary on pop culture/writing please!)

I have failed NANO so many times lol, so I get you there. I have won twice before. I feel you, sometimes the words do not feel like their good words and I need space away from my project to get back on track. I would definitely be down to see you have some live sprints on your channel. Good luck on your project. Can't wait to see what NaNo brings for you in November.

I’m happy to see that even though you didn’t hit your goal, you’re still proud of yourself-because you should be! I agree with everything you said about how you still tried and you still got words, and that’s a success on its own. And it’s exciting to see that you’re enjoying the process more with this story, that’s so inspiring. Also, I love the title Court of Rooks, though my brain conjures up something more fantasy-esque like Six of Crows. I don’t read much mystery, but I’m definitely intrigued! I’m excited to see more about this project (and any other project you talk about)!

Yes to the live stream 🎉 They’re so much fun and useful. And no worries on not meeting your goal you did great! Hyped for you to finish the first draft 💃🏽 A video on all your projects would super cool. Hearing about people’s projects is always really fun.

I was hoping to get 50,000 words done in July, but I got Covid 2 weeks in and was only able to get a little over 30,000 words done. I'm still very happy with what I got done - all things considered.

I like your writing vlogs videos. Your amazing… if i can just add a tip, your not a failure, you have accomplished so much and maybe that should uplift you not suggest your a failure.
