honestly I've never felt so related to a video in my life, keep up what you're doing and only focus on your own likes and goals, other people's opinions and expectations don't matter:) Growth isn't always linear, sometimes you just have to be patient and keep on believing in yourself no matter what, and despite what society expects from you. If you like it then it's alright. I recently quit dentistry school and still am figuring out my life because I realized I was doing this because of others and not because of me, takes courage but here we go✨

I've NEVER felt so seen!!! After graduating from psychology, I just applied for tonnes of HR jobs. I didn't even want them, and would end up withdrawing my application after being offered jobs. My heart wanted to continue studying to get my registration as a psychologist. It wasnt until my partner called me out for this behaviour and told me I need to believe in myself and my ability to become a psychologist. Now I'm enrolled in uni to continue and I feel much more aligned energetically! I will continue to work on limiting self-beliefs, and this video was a start ❤

I was truly meant to see this. I failed uni twice because of family and relationship issues that those emotions got the better of me. It had a direct effect on my grades and as a consequence I’m now unemployed with no idea in which direction to move. Job search has been cruel and I’ve never experienced failure like this. I’ve been ashamed of myself and I was starting to wallow in negativity. But your video has nudged me towards more positive thoughts. Thank you. Life has a plan for me and I will figure it out

I can relate to this SO much. I graduated 5 years ago, worked jobs i hated for years, moved abroad and tried to start a digital marketing business that ultimately failed. Omg our story is soo similar 😮 What helps me is that is seems that no one really knows what they're doing (and those who really know are few). Sometimes I feel like a lot of people are just living on autopilot looking happy and that they have it "all figured out" but actually they also never care to stop and ask themselves if they are happy doing what they're doing. Anyway, I think it's a strength to try things, try to figure out your life, and find "your" thing-- taking more active role in life instead of just passively participating in it :))

I feel so seen! This is my current situation. Started and failed 3 businesses. Quit a draining job to chase my most recent business and forced to put it on hold. Now I’ve spent the past year applying to multiple jobs I never really wanted and never got past the interview. Everything is chaos right now. Visa is expiring soon, no job and I’m not even sure what to pursue because I have few interests but not sure how to pursue them to succeed. Everyday is just me fighting my thoughts but I’m learning to trust the process and hold on to my dreams. I’m 23 and have a clear vision of what I want for my life and I believe it will happen no matter what. I feel lazy doing nothing but I’ve just accepted that life wants me to chill and wait this season😂 It will all make sense and I am so glad to know I’m not alone in this❤❤❤

I am a 29 years old man and this video that randomly poped up in my recommended made me cry. It sums up completely my struggles, I am very sensitive and I always feel strong emotions, when I am doing something that is not right for me. Nevertheless, I have spent 5 years studying mechanical engineering, because that is what I was good at, without any passion. Afterthat I got into a busines world as a consultant and I coudnt be further away from myself. I felt it deep inside, that this is killing me and I am so much more than that. Now I have been 8 months unemployed and the fear of choosing the bad path has lead me - to not choosing any path and being depressed and diving in apathy. Now I finaly realize, that it is already so damaging that I have to actually start trying what my heart desires withou the fear of failure. I really want to help people especially kids and so I want to try and become a teacher and other things. And this video motivates me, so thank you for it Katarina. You are connecting not only to women but also to some of us - men, who have a feminine side inside of us. :)

I tried moving abroad in 2018. First I moved to my absolute favorite city of Copenhagen and later to London, where I attended college learning to be a tradesman in carpentry. I excelled at school for the first time in my life (I have a slight learning disability) this time my motivation was trough the roof nevertheless! It went downhill a few months later when I got a psychotic break 😢 and I was hospitalized for a few years and it was heartbreaking. But I learned something valuable and that is to follow my heart and I'm much more capable and strong and smart than I firstly believed.

This all resonates, everything you're saying. Thank you for putting it into such powerful words. I have been travelling for 8 years, worked on a yacht last year, quit as it was too hard for me, lived in New Zealand, tried to spontaniously live in Cornwall, did not like it, went broke, now back in The Netherlands, super stuck, not liking it at all, very much doubting all my decisions as there were definitely some very wrong choices there. But that is the universe telling me that that is not what I want, and where I want to live. It's constantly giving us signs! I just doubt myself too much, and get stuck. In fact, I have been stuck for the last 4 years. Trying to not shame myself in this is crucial I think. I will start over again and I will make yoga videos, give yoga lessons, go more deeply into what I'm feeling. Also, move to a different place. Even though I have no idea where to yet. That's fine. Thank your so much for your encouraging words!! I really feel this because I was on a very simular journey in the last years. Especially the part of feeling lonely or misunderstood because I had a vision in my mind but it wasn't fully there for people to see and it looked more as if I would just mess around. Your video gave me the feeling of being understood and so much hope! ❤ Some lessons I also learned in addition to your great video: maybe the first goal is not the result/the success but that you become more and more yourself and the success comes as a consequence when you are ready for it. When you fail it is NEVER meant against you. You are right and what your heart says is valid it just says that you still have some thoughts and patterns from the past that don't serve you. There is a difference between your learned behaviour and your identity. Always chose and love yourself no matter what and try to let go the thoughts that make you choosing the wrong path.

I escaped from the fear of being different so I got two PhD degrees used two second languages...And.... I am KZbinr right now, shared the spiritual knowledge (which accumulated for very long-time during the PhD=the period of fear) used the second language and my native language. And they are developing very well. I needed to see your video, i am litterally living the same thing, I graduated a year ago and I wanted to find a job in cultural project management but unfortunately my tons of applications didn't result to anything... Fulfilling our destiny is a journey that we must never compromise on, I’m so glad you’re not caving into societal standards. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho helped me so much after graduating and being unemployed but having a dream that I believe in. I highly recommend the book.

Omg this came at the perfect time! I also just graduated from uni and haven’t gotten any of the jobs I’ve applied for 🥲 but I know deep down what I want to do and I’m starting to walk in that direction. But it’s definitely scary. Esp w societal pressure / the idea that my college degree was a waste of time. Thank you for this!

Everything you said in the video is so so relatable to me! After a lot of sufferings, stress & confusions, I finally have found my dream but I can't just dive into it right away😞 because it doesn't immediately guarantee financial independence. So first I'm trying to get a typical stable job & then go for my dream in small steps like working on it in the evenings, weekends & holidays. It kinda hurts that months & few years will be wasted trying to get the typical stable job but having financial independence has become very crucial at this point in my life because my parents aren't very much supportive of my dreams & they're also kinda struggling financially. But life is not meant to be all fun & games. Life is just worth living & worth trying. We will all d!é one day anyway. So I'll try my best to fulfill my dreams & aspirations♥️

I love your mindset!!! and congrats on finding your dream! GO GET those dreams ✨It's smart to seek for a job to pay the bills while working on your dream on the evenings and weekends. I mean money and finances in general are part of our life we cannot life without so don't feel bad about it. If you work 1h a day everyday on your dream it's 365 hours a year. A lot of things can happen in 365 hours. 🫶🏻💖

I’m in this situation right now. I’m almost getting everything but failing at the end. Like I apply for job. I accepted for the company and in the last minute the vacancy was closed. Lately I apply for British embassy after some special exams and was selected with very few people and they called me for an interview and I totally miss my interview yesterday. I hate myself for this and even thinking that maybe God is punishing me for some bad things I did. I feel very lost now. But thanks for your words here 🙏

I was always been a lucky girl i got what i wanted in my life everytime (even my bf) but lately after graduation i wasn't aligning with my energy i felt depressed about how my life turned out, but maybe all of this happened for a reason and yes the lessons i learned are top notch wisdom, just like you i can turn that wisdom into something useful i can teach people how to overcome things like this maybe

I'm sorry to hear that:(( get well soon🫶🏻 I also understand where you're standing! There are many ways to do sales and for sure there is a way that could work for you. I hate cold sales for example but there are plenty of other options. Also maybe this could help: generally when someone's talking about sales, we picture this sleek sales guy (or a woman) trying to manipulate us into buying something we don't need but this is a stereotype. There's also a more gentle, ethical, and natural way to sell, where you don't need to manipulate or use some psychological tricks to trick people into buying. In fact, see it as a normal everyday human interaction. We sell to each other all the time. You go to a restaurant, you like it and the next thing you do is tell your friend about it. So if you have a product or a service that solves someone's problem, you're basically doing them a good thing, you're solving their pain point.

This is my life, I was unemployed for two years, I wrote multiple exams for jobs but couldn't pass, rejected multiple times then I got an internship doing for 6 months but totally dissatisfied what I was doing because I realised this is not what I want, I'm leaving this internship and start studying for govt exams because that's what I want to do. But it's difficult but I'll do it.

Hi,i am 16 year old I was cried yesterday.I had an emotional outburst This is my story : I was approximately 12 year and i loved animals a lot I decided to start youtube channel I made (i guess they were stupid) videos for youtube Then my family said me "You need to stop it,it's so embaraccing(cause they were)" and "don't show your face.People can exploit you.Don't use your voice " At the end of that,i gave up on the idea of becoming a KZbinr and vet. Then i changed my school.That was my new year-6th grade. I went school till 8th grade and then i left.Now,i am 10th grade.I want to give international exams.But i feel lost between them,because i don't even know what i want to be. I forgot everything i learned at school and it makes me feel like "i'am dumb" But i started youtube finally.Except my brother,nobody knows about my channel.I don't say them anything about it and i'll not say.(i had a passion about being influncer.i have tried to make videos,i shared but then i deleted over the years.i hesititated from starting yt,but then i built up my courage and began 1-2 month(s) ago)) Because the most beautiful thing in my life is KZbin right now(i share videos,if you want you can check and support :) ) But I feel completely lost and dumb Because i don't know basics about life,indon't know myself. Yesterday my grandpa quized me about high school's basic things and i didn't know anything at all He said me 👉 "You are uneducated. No university will accept you with this mind. You need to know about everything" Then i went to my room and cried.Because he is right.Who needs me? These reality hurts me badly. I thought about what my grandpa said.I decided that "I need to learn computer,even though i don't want.Maybe i can be data analist(because i just can do that,otherwise i need to learn other subjects deeply.by the way,i don't mean that computer science is easy.But who will want me,this is easier way for me.Because i just prep for sat and ielts) But i will think about these things really.You are completely right I don’t know why this video appeared in front of me, but it came at the exact moment I needed it, when I was at my most hopeless and disconnected."
