I just want to share my experience on how I have been consuming such advice videos on how to live your best life, or a better life ever since I was 16 or younger. I am 22 now and still far from where I ideally would like to be. I keep watching these videos and appreciate them from the bottom of my heart because there are always enlightening advices. However, I used to fall into an endless loop of self-improvement, making this and that better and more efficient... that I did not realize how this led me to manifest deep in my subconcious that how or who I am is never good enough. I dont think any generation before had so much "advice" pushed towards them on how they are supposed to live their "best" life. I don't want to deny the incredible worth these videos have. But here's a reminder that you dont have to be perfect. He's figured it out over 50, and if you are not there yet in your 20s or whatever, then that is life. Because no matter how often you hear great advice, humans learn most from their very own experiences. So dont compare yourself to someone who had many more years to learn. Simply get inspired. Accept yourself, as you are. Nourish your soul with love and kindness, that will help you grow.

"If you don't like something, then change it and if you cannot change it, then change your attitude towards it'. Definitely file a complain, preferably with a recorded proof. If you have no proof, then make up any excuses not to deal with that person. If you are on the same team as they, then make sure your part has your name, bring up your achievements during meetings when somebody claims that they did it, don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and correct them, if they try to make it sound like you're too obsessed with being credited for every small thing or try to make you look crazy in front of the bosses, simply say that no normal legally operating business should have problem with crediting the correct source. I have went through what you did and did not stand up for myself at that time and lo and behold I was not working there soon after as I heard rumors my superviser took all the credit but put all the blame on me for the mistakes she did personally.

Honestly, every single bit in this video was extremely valuable and full of really applicable information for a lot of people, especially if their goal is to build wealth. I have a few issues with the overall intent of these tips, tho. I don't like thinking that I should be using everyone around me to my advantage. I understand that as humans, we are evolved to be wired to use each other in order to guarantee our individualistic survival, but a part of me just wants to be a genuinely nice person, and sometimes I just want to value someone for existing. I don't want to meet someone and be like, "ah yes. this person could turn out useful later on, therefore i will pretend to like them and be nice to them until i know they will no longer be useful or detrimental to my self-interested goals." It makes me feel guilty. Yes, when you have an opportunity to make your life better, take it. But please don't make the lives of everyone else miserable while you're doing it. There's a balance to everything, and I really hope that this video isn't trying to raise the next generation of rich white guys who backstab everyone they meet and ruin the quality of life for millions. My favorite tip in this entire video was the one where you mentioned mental and emotional preparation for the death of your loved ones. I didn't realize I wasn't the only one who thought this way, starting when I was 12, I imagined what it would be like without my parents around, and I've had it on the back of my mind since. Please don't forget that money is absolutely worthless if there aren't any humans around to give it value. Money doesn't have value. People do. And the most important thing you will ever do in your life is form relationships, because relationships are precious, because every single one of them is unique and will ultimately end. Money will always exist in your life, but people in your life won't. Spend your entire life being an asshole, and people will quickly undo everything you did the minute you die. Spend your life being not an asshole, and your legacy will live on. I guess all I'm trying to say is to prioritize the things in life that matter. I don't know. Happy Birthday, Mark. I know how to respect my elders, I lost my father at a young age, as a result you could say I developed daddy issues, but that's another story. As a result, I often am making friends with those who are 15, 20 and sometimes 30+ years older than me, but it's also because I have an overcompensating form of empathy due to my autism. Similar to how your dyslexia was a tool, i've allowed my autism to factor into my patience and decision to keep quiet and listen to those who are trying to help as well as with those I am trying to help, i'm hopeful that I can soon grow into being a charismatic enterpeneur, selling a service in garbage can collection as a self made side hustle.
