I have Narcolepsy w/ cataplexy and I'm glad I found your video. I resonated with so much of this. You're so extremely brave for sharing your vulnerabilities. This disability is life altering. It isn't seen often in life and harshly misrepresented in the media. You have a community who understands your situation and can help you find resources. I know it can feel so lonely and hopeless but you are not alone. Stay strong beautiful girl. 😊❤

To answer your question at the end of the video, I don't know if it does go away completely but the most important part is to not compare your life to others. I have a high drive to succeed and that can become frustration when I have to keep waking myself up and doing things at a slower pace than I used to. I admit I'm not there yet either. But I have learned that whether you're comparing yourself to others or to the person you were before your diagnosis...give yourself some grace. Do what you can with what you have. Be kind to yourself and surround yourself with those who understand and show up for you. Wishing you the best :)

@@Zzzonx Yes this is it I'm definitely struggling to let go of who i was before this, im so use to moving when i need or want to and now i can only move when im able, its definitely a change of pace for me. But im working on learning to be more patient with myself.

@@iambreeze You've got this! I'm glad I could help you feel less alone in this. I guarantee you someone is out there scared and looking for answers or at least compassion and I hope they stumble on your video like I did. Keep spreading your light despite your condition and the rest will fall into place. I believe in you!
