Be sure to get 3-phase electric service (if that line has 3 wires). Though it's not really necessary for just a residence, if you ever have any larger power equipment, 3-phase 240V is almost required and actually costs less in the long run.

LMAO Jason, we split wood in Tee Shirts in 20 degree weather as long as there is no wind. Keeps us from sweating and freezing to death. With that said, make sure you wear layers, I know you Texas boys ain't up to the cold like us Idaho fellers are. Look up the weather in North Idaho and Yaak Montana for the next week - 49 for the next few days! Gonna be a fun time for all! Glad you all are going to get electricity. It helps, I hope you plan on heating with wood, though. It will save you a ton of money, and it looks like you have plenty to sustain you with for a while.
