Dry mixing concrete is a TERRIBLE idea! I really wish morons like this would STOP giving this bad advice! There is a reason the manufacturer of that concrete puts instructions on the bag which DO NOT have ANY reference to "dry mixing". Mix your concrete with water if you want it to cure properly and actually turn into a durable product. Dry mix = 100% crap! Don't do it!

Concrete is an epoxy with rocks in it. If you make epoxy but don't stir it, you might get it to harden, but it will be the weakest epoxy possible. There's a reason we spend thousands of dollars just to monitor the mixing process when we build something important, like a concrete slab for a business like Intel. You can get away with this in many applications, but it's not going to last a fraction of the decades, and it won't bear a fraction of the point loads a properly mixed concrete will. If this was a good idea, professionals would do it every day, because mixing concrete is a huge part of the expense and scheduling hassle with a concrete job. The first thing a contractor would do is quote you a dry pour, then tell you if you want to waste your money, you can pay three times as much to mix it.

I wonder why the walls had metal walls I?. Wondering if they will draw the cold weather in, as wood is warmer.

Whatever happened to your jackhammer that you had on Shoot Dang Ranch, it would've made things easier with the frozen ground and rocky areas of Someday Ranch.

Very interesting and an extensive labor effort. Unfortunately, due to the employed methods, this lovely couple and their dogs have an increased probability of developing silicosis, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, and/or emphysema from concrete dust exposure.

The mixing produces matrices you don't get with a dry pour. It's like kneading dough. Dry slabs would then be the equivalent of scones. Usually, you want your concrete to be strong and chewy, not crumbly.

Bro, You could have fumigate the ground before dumping the dry concrete. You could have also place a black tarp to use a barrier between the concrete and the ground. Also, IMO, you work too hard the first time when you place all the bags in the center....and then move them again. But i think you nocited it because you didnot do that the second time. Finally, you need to use a face mask when working with cement. Those particles will get in your lungs and solidify if mix with your blood.

Listen for something that doesn’t need excessive support. It’s OK but make no mistake. It’s like mixing glue. If you don’t mix glue properly with two different it takes water and concrete and if you don’t mix the two different parts of glue correctly it’s not gonna be correct these are facts

I keep telling you all this guy does and her is just repeat videos. A year from now, they'll still be living in the camper. And they'll do another video cleaning up the barn that's cleared out dig a hole. You can watch six months of jason's videos and that's everything he's done in five years
