Merkur 15C also has those old school bumpers and slim, curved head. Nice and mild razor.

My only issue with it is the blade overhang. With all the bullet pegs and the bar inside to secure the blade, an overhang to adjust a blade is useless. They could have got rid of the overhang. But I still like the way this shaves better than the Merica Titanium from Yates.

Your videos are entertaining to watch. I've been watching the last ones randomly, and I enjoyed those where you talked about your travels to other countries, including Germany. I think you said in a video that your relatives moved from Germany to USA in the 1800's. So you have german ancestry? Me too. But in my case it's actually more than that. Because I did born in Romania, and I have romanian, german, hungarian, and ukrainian ancestry. And I have been living in Portugal for many years. I can dominate 8 languages: romanian, german, hungarian, ukrainian, russian, portuguese, spanish, and english. I've been before in all of my countries of origin, except for Ukraine. But I will go there one day too.

Great looking razor, but no more new razors for me, I have enough in my shave den. Feathers are ok, but too sharp for me. Silver blues are my favorites, nice little comfortable blades. Take care.

You can get the Rockwell 6C for $60 and the 2C (only the 1 - 3 plate)for $40 (you'll need to search for it since it's not promoted on the page). And yes, I do the same thing with chips and salsa/queso! I did the same thing during COVID lockdown. I was doing well with intermittent fasting, too, but working from home for over a year, well, that just went out the window. I need to get back on it. My doc told me once that your body actually fights against you. It something like, "Well, we didn't die at that weight so we can stay there!" Anyway, it's been a while so I"m playing catch-up! So far I've purchased a pearl flexi and feather blades based on your videos, and both times I've been extremely happy. Thanks so much for all the help in picking things out. When I heard the price I thought for sure it was going to be one of those stainless steel jobbies. But I guess not? As for the corner of your mouth thing, salt & vinegar potato chips do that to me the most, once I start on those I never want to stop! And yes, it's really annoying when you're having trouble finding the right angle on a razor, when there are other razors you don't have to think at all about.

questions what a good mild blade that shave u real good! cuse I bought this cheap cheat german Doble edge razer at burlington that came with stainless steel blades. then bought super stainless steel blades at target and they don't shave me good at all! always cutting myself on the neck and hair left over on the neck. same with cartridges razers

The higher temps have finally made it to north Georgia. Cold water shaves are a must. It must be tough to compete with new safety razor designs. I agree that the Fine DE5 is overpriced. I appreciate your honest reviews. There are many safety razors for $35 or less that give close, comfortable shaves.

I have the parker 45r and it gives a very good shave it cost €55+€6 postage I also have a plastic Wilkinson sword razor that cost €6 and it gives every bit as good a shave and I love the way it feels to shave with.

Looks like the Muhle R41 to me. Found it odd you didn't mention that, if you did i must have missed it.... As with most of Fine's shave products i think they're overpriced compared to the shave soap pucks they use to sell..

That information wirh 5 in the black package and 10 in the yellow is wrong. There are different numbers of blade in yellow and black packages. The yellow ones are for foreign countries, especially Western. The black is for Asian, mostly Japan. But the blades are the same!
