I really enjoyed your review very relatable. I personally love trimmers. Currently I own the Norelco one blade trimmer which is basically like this product and I use it in conjunction with a disposable to get the closest shave. Thanks for sharing!

Technological advance? Maybe. Cartridge razors did make shaving a lot safer and easier. No thinking required, much harder to cut yourself. Superior shave? Absolutely not.

I used one of these through military basic training. Cheap, worked well, and it did what I needed it to. Plus I wasn't worried about chucking it in my kit bag, locker, bergen etc. It's a bit scuffed up and scratched now, but it still shaves just fine.

One thing I would say is that, if you have a beard and you want to go back to clean shaven, a straight razor will take the bulk off with one pass, and it won't clog

This was three years ago. How do you feel about it now? Thinking of switching over because I’m tired of tired of wasting my money on disposable razors that don’t work well

A great earbud and general tech reviewer that is honest is Flossy Carter. He has a lot of videos on cheap and expensive earbuds and headphones and tells you the truth. One set that is somewhat inexpensive and great is the Baseus Bowie MA10s, which he's reviewed. Check him out. He's got good stuff.

Hi, I don't know why but when it comes to CARTRIDGE razors, not the DE ones, I feel as thought the Fusion 5 are definitely more worth the test of time and money than the Mach 3. The Mach 3 doesn't seem HORRIBLE, but it definitely seems more poorer quality than the Gillette Fusion 5. And yes, I would choose a Safety razor ANYDAY over this!

Just started using cremo sandlewood and it makes a fantastic thick lather in my bowl using a badger bristle brush. Great stuff.

My dad used to work for the company that manufactured those (evyap) in 1990s. I still have batches of those from those years. A bit yellowed, and stinks a bit more than usual but it does a nice job!

Beautiful story, sharing your past with us. Thanks for pouring your heart out to us. I appreciate the heart to heart. Moments like this, you love how human it all makes you feel. I’m in love with that Supply Pro from your video. Supply and Brew. So hefty and metal. Beautiful to look at. Thanks, Sinatra.

I think all those safety razors are pretty much the same. Only blades matter. The sharper the blade, the better it shaves

Barbasol and a Bic were my go-tos when I was working. Quick, one pass, got the job done. Don’t recall any cuts or irritation. Now that I’m retired I’ve moved on to other shave gear.

Hey, although I am a new wet shaver and am a new viewer to your channel, I have really enjoyed your content so far and will be watching many more of your previous videos. Your videos have been a guide for me starting wet shaving as well as simply being entertaining and relaxing. The magic of your videos is your passion and enthusiasm, and if youre not feeling that then you shouldn’t subject yourself to doing something that has become more of a chore and at the end of the day it should be just as enjoyable for you to make these videos as it is for us to watch. Where ever you go I hope it goes well, although I am a new viewer, thank you for the content you have made and for any future content you may or may not create. Thanks✌🏻

Harry's razors are the closest things you'll get to DE razors in the multiple bladed cartridge razor community. They definitely require a lot more technique and skill to use than your regular old Gillette, etc
@TurboGibby-bh8bu10 күн бұрын
Great video! I'm kind of getting new to the DE world, per se, lol. I just used a vanderhagen de razor and I love it.....the only downside about de razors is that this si going to become a hobby for me that will never go away. 🤣 Those DE razors give a much better shave, don't irritate your skin, and get (pretty much) all the hairs off the face going with the grain too! Yes, you have to have proper skill and strategy to use the DE razors but with all of these videos from your channel and other shave channels, I've learned how to use the DE razors effectively. They really are the way to go. NOW...on the other hand....yes, a very gimmicky razor to say the least. I use the Harry's and just a Gillette Fusion 5, both did fine. I just want a simple shave, I don't need all this "protection" and this and that and whatnot. No need for it.
@TurboGibby-bh8bu10 күн бұрын
AWESOME RAZOR!!!! I just used mine I ordered from Amazon last night. I'm used to using Harry's and that's the closest thing in the cartridge razor world you'll get to DE razors. (Harry's are amazing razors too) But what an awesome razor, especially for someone like myself who is getting into the DE Safety Razors. After years and months of watching shaving videos on KZbin, etc, I've learned how to use the DE Safety Razors effectively. I had no cuts or irritation at all, and closest shave I've ever gotten, all in one pass with the grain! Would definitely recommend!!!

I just got a new unused jar with the blue lid and a perfect condition box, lid, and jar. I was wondering if the strong medicinal smell was normal. Glad to hear yours is too so I guess its normal. I paid around $30 w shipping.

Final Verdict: Choose the OneBlade if you're looking for convenience, ease of use, and a smooth, irritation-free shave with minimal effort. It's great for beginners or people who want a quick, hassle-free shave. Choose a Safety Razor if you're interested in a classic shaving experience, want a very close shave, and are willing to invest time in learning the technique. It's also more cost-effective in the long run and better for the environment.
