I am glad you got the courage and snapped out of being helpless. You can do a lot of cruising with time. It all takes baby steps to get there. I too was petrified of the highways and nervous to drive. I invested in a driving school to get me comfortable and not regretting any step. I know you can do it too and all the best.

I'm an American and have lived in different states bc of circumstances of lost of job. This is the first time since 2017 first time I've lived by myself I'm in my late 50s raised my kids. I still hate living by myself, I find it incredibly hard and I have to really not focus on it . Please don't stress bc everyone in USA goes through thru this my son didn't drive and I had to beg my boss to switch my lunch hour the time my son got out. Try carpooling, at work, also with the daycare. Marie it will work out, hang tight .

@Maria driving is one of the most essential thing u need to do in America. U cpuld hv done that in Kenya . But anyway u did not do ot. so brace urself learn to drive and wish u all the best . Driving is a must for USA if u are in Europe its not.

If you have a relative come to Washington Seattle federal way there are Kenyans who have driving school d if you have practiced they will just polish with you and you get your insurance they are licensed for that .Blessed driving school ..check it out
