She said she's willing to divorce him legally. He and his mistress committed fraud obtaining those "divorce" papers which means this woman is still legally married to him. There's also the matter of alimony and child support. Once the fraudulent documentation is thrown out, she needs to get a good lawyer, if she doesn't have one already, and take him to the cleaners. It also sounds like he abandoned his kids so she needs to seek sole custody and either ask for child support or have him sign over his parental rights. She and her kids deserve better than that trash human being.

I went through something similar. My ex hubby let his new wife use my info to get an ID, so she could have her gallbladder out on his insurance. She also committed lots of fraud, using my ID, that I got arrested for. She went as far as to get a state debit card, and had MY child support, sent to her. It took me forever to get it cleared up.

@@rachelross1657 my advantage was, I live in Texas, they're in Indiana so I could prove that I wasn't the one who did the fraud stuff, plus...I had my gallbladder removed in 1996. I did have to fly to Indiana, turn myself in, get out on a PR bond, and ask the judge if I could come back to Texas, while the investigation was ongoing. Thankfully, she said yes !! She was prosecuted, my ex wasn't...although he should have been.

My ex had his girlfriend (the woman he left me for) sign my name on our final tax return. I have no idea what the tax refund amounted to. I immediately notified the IRS but nothing happened. I believe they buried it because my ex was a cop. Then, when I asked for my half of the refund, he said a pipe broke in our house (which we were selling) and he had to use the refund for the deductible on the repairs. Yet, when both I and my attorney asked for copies of the insurance paperwork, it was never sent. I didn't care about the money but for a father to choose his mistress over his child's welfare (buying food, clothes, etc), was totally despicable. Years later, this same mistress/2nd wife was sent to prison for stealing drugs from the hospital she worked at and I heard she died there. I hate to admit that I wasn't sad.

This happened to my mom!! Her and my dad were married but separated. His new girlfriend sent divorce papers to my mom. Tricky part- the new girlfriend and my mom had the same cousin. That cousin took the papers off her dresser, signed them, and sent them back.😳 Her children really believe their parents were married.😔
