Im 77, and set my hair with about 10 big pincurls. No heat no round brushing no extra chemicals but mild shampoo. The current " beachy" styles look half done and messy. I wear my hair up most of the time and people compliment me all the time

I’m glad we live in an era when women can make a decision based on what they like, not on their age. I’m an older woman and wear my hair long. This cut is attractive on her, but I prefer hair I can style up or down, curly or straight. This seems limited.

I've worn my hair in bobs off and on since my early 20s, so 40 years! I knew she was in trouble just watching the cut. Then when he started with the curling brush and moved on to the curling iron and had to keep going over and over the same areas, I knew exactly what she was going to get. A terrible cut that never styles right or hangs properly and just needs to be fixed by someone else. No matter how she tries to style that, it will end up with parts of sticking out straight or, even worse, curling outward rather than under or hanging straight (depending on what she's trying to do) and the front hanging awkwardly at a length that's not long enough and too long, all at the same time. Like I said, I've had bobs off and in (mostly on) for 40 years because they just fit my face shape best so I know exactly how that will behave. The product he used to prevent yellowing of her greys was also terrible. It should remove the yellow without leaving the hair with a very distinct purple tinge. Unfortunately, that's just what she got - purple hair.

The cut should have been in a shorter bob cut with layers, no hairspray. Theo did not condition her before making the haircut. The total bob haircut shown looked very messy.

I do like the cut but I have very fine hair myself and I just know this will be tricky and time consuming to style , and it will fall flat very quickly . It’s supposed to look fashionably messy but I fear it will just end up looking messy full stop .

Such a lovely woman. I am 76 and keep my hair cut into a stylish bob. My stylist would never send me out of his salon looking like this. This sweet lady looks unkept. In my opinion, her extremely fine hair will fall flat by the time that she walks out of the door. Often, short looks better with fine hair. I love her cut, and he did a good job on everything, but her comb out. It just looks too messy.

I curl it and p>ut one side going back by my ear and other side fluffy and I do it fast, myself and o get many good compliments. I can ever band it back and attach a (curly girl by Paula Young hairpiece.) One of my favorites. They have many beautiful colors to match your hair.

My hair was quite long, thin and grey. I went to get it cut😮. She cut it into a pixie(not real shortl with Duck tailvin back as thats how my hair grows. She also cut out around my ears. Everyone loves it! I have it in layers on top front. When dry it, i curl it with my round brush, bringing it all toward my face. Vif needing to look special, i spray as i brush and curl it, then arrange with fingers or rattail comb. Easy to handle, comfortable and all say attractive. Only downside it i have to go get a trim more often. Almost wash n go. I haven't finished the video but i already dont like bottom layer sticking out. I prefer smooth styled hair. I am 72 grandmother and love mine.

Heat processing on thin hair is very drying. He should have cut piecy layers and it would have looked thicker and more stylish. I hav e thinning hair and my stylist cuts into the layers vertical ally not blunt. cut.

Hairdressers often treat one's hair like a wig. It is as if they completely forget that you have to go home & style yourself. They also don't take your lifestyle into consideration, often creating a very complicated style for someone who likes to wash, blow and go. AND they don't cut it the way you wanted it. What this guy did is just a mess and nowhere near what she asked for.

I totally agree. A blunt cut was all she needed. He's taking way too long. Snip here, snip there, it's all in pieces. My hairdresser does the most perfect blunt in under 5 minutes, and you can still get a ponytail out of it. That's what you call freedom hair.

Based on the comments, you misunderstood her request. I understand the Dutch. She wanted something very modern and not too short since she needs to be able to do different styles as a model. Extra fine hair needs more care in the cutting to fall smoothly.
