It's so nice that you really appreciate the poster's comment and that they appreciate you. Just a very lovely start to a video 🌞

I would second the comment you received saying that your videos helped them, because I myself have been helped by them. I could completely resonate with what you said about your resistance to claiming benefits to which you were entitled because I myself have felt that way. Indeed it was only last year that I applied and was granted PIP. My applying was in part because having become housebound through my OCD even I couldn't deny to myself my disability anymore, but also it was down to your videos helping me gain a true and authentic sense of acceptance (not the reality denying version of acceptance the NDM sells). In addition my seeking out an ADHD assessment and my subsequent diagnosis, was because of your videos slowly revealing to me the significant executive functioning impairments I have always had but never sought help for because a) didn't know that's what they were and b) was so ashamed that I couldn't do things like others do. Thank you for making your videos.

I'm glad my videos have helped you gain that acceptance and helped you get disability assistance and the ADHD diagnosis :)

I would back up the comments made by the person who complimented you: I can relate to the way you see the world. I also used to hold certain views of people on social security, not for moral reasons, but because it reflected my fears of my own inability to cope with life's hard knocks. For me, ASD is a life-long brain condition and is no more desirable than emotional damage from a head injury (which I also have). I've tried like hell to "fit onto" the world around me, but the uniform doesn't fit and never will do: so I've tailored my own uniform. To paraphrase Bruce Lee, be fluid like water, not rigid like stone. Everything I've achieved has come from a mixture of hard work, pure luck and the right people helping me at the right time. I don't understand the rationale of the NDM, with their denial of suffering and disability, and their hijacking of medical science. Colin.

That's a great quote by Bruce Lee. Yes agreed, a hijacking of medical science is what the NDM are doing, doing great harm to the more disabled and their need for answers and help.

I was subjected to mob bullying by those on the NDM on Twitter. Deleted my account (which is what they wanted) as it was so extreme. There are a few on here who accuse me of being a "troll" for daring to challenge some of the regurgitated narratives. It takes courage to criticize trendy bandwagons with political forces.

Yes you have to be strong, and if you already struggle with a mental illness or disability, it takes extra courage to challenge them as you are already struggling with your own stuff. I have seen how hateful it can get on twitter, reminds me of a school playground, but the NDM are the bullies targeting the more disabled, it's horrid.

@@welcome12ization They deliberately triggered PTSD, then mocked me by making a meme of me in distress. These are people claiming to be autistic & they were mad at me because I hold the opinion that self-diagnosis is unwise & also because I stopped calling myself autistic. They also accused me of manipulating & lying when I had severe SI as a result of the mobbing. I did feel vindicated though when recently a journalist called out one of the big accounts behind the mobbing. He has a pattern of setting off his followers to mob anyone who disagrees.

@@BipolarCourage Twitter is a very toxic place if we are not careful, I think the NDM bullies because they feel insecure and bullying those who disagree with them boosts their insecure egos.

@@welcome12ization that's exactly what my psychologist said. Bullies bully because they don't feel good about themselves. Was toxic so better to dump it.
