@@Jacquiquinn901You can not be wrong in almost any place in Spain, but Alicante is for sure one of the best places you can go to live. Great nightlife, great beaches and nature, great weather almost the whole year, great food like everywhere in the country, you have the sea but also mountain, nice people, plenty of activities to do, etc. And for me something that people don't normally consider but in my opinion it is important: Alicante is not one of the biggest cities of Spain but has one of the most important airports, which makes it easy to have a bigger traveling offers so you don't normally need to go far if you want to take a plane, as you normally would be able to flight from Alicante. 100% recommended.

Alicante is truly a piece of heaven on earth. Let’s keep it like this. I am from and live in Alicante. Therefore I may be somewhat biased, Alicante is a beautiful city, no too big but has everything a large city has. The food and restaurants just outstanding, great nightlife obviously being on the Med Coast, but also peace and quiet if wanted, many places to visit either in the city itself or very near. Great public transport to run around without having to drive. Truly a place to create many great and positive memories. People are friendly and nobody is out after cheap scams like many other places. Come and see for yourselves , June and September are great months to enjoy Alicante.

I'm coming at it from a UK point of view...maybe its different if you live elsewhere...but I think that the only thing we knew about Spain for decades was as a cheap tourist destination based around the Costa del Sol. Even in the 90s and 00s we learnt about Ibiza and Marbella...but only as upscale party destinations. Since the late 00s/early 10s we have started to realise just how amazing Spain is...especially for its food. Where previously we only knew about paella...then some basic tapas...we now know places like San Sebastian represent the highest level of culinary brilliance in Europe, if not the world. One day people will start realising that Spanish Cava is as good as champagne...and much better than prossecco...just as it became obvious how much better iberico bellota is compared to prosciutto!
@LaChicaconSuerte-11112 ай бұрын
The thing is that the Spanish don´t show off and if people want to know more about their food and culture, they have to come to Spain and not just read what the tabloids say about Spain and about what it is like. The British tabloids succeeded in labelling Spain according to some stereotypes they imposed on it, as they do with everything.

Great video as always! We love living in Alicante centro. We sold our house in San Diego, California & moved to Alicante over a year ago. We then bought a flat and did a complete gut and ground up reforma. The only regret we have is not doing it years earlier! We appreciate all of the help you provide, muchas gracias!
