Anglicised Name is COORG. KODAGU or COORG is a District in Karnataka State and Not a particular place like a Town or City. Lakshmana Theertha Water Falls which is popularly known as Irpu Falls comes in Ponnampet Taluk in the Southern part of Kodagu District. Tala Cauvery is the birth place of River Cauvery which comes in Madikeri Taluk in the Northern part of Kodagu District. KODAGU is a beautiful place to visit.
