Great adventure! The real problem I see with this is choice. When you only have one thing to shoot with you don't have to overthink things. 🤓 That gopro mount looks fun! I love the pov view you got. 🤩

Great video Jon Enjoyed that. That was brutal that they wanted to charge you for sitting there. I am sure you paid damn good money for the ice cream already . But that is a big tourist city for you. I just started watching this video but by the title, this describes my trip to Norway and I hated how much I brought: GoPro Hero 8, Canon R6, and my Google Pixel 6 Pro smartphone. Most of my videos were taken by the phone because it was just more instinctual to use when the moment arose. I really want to justify my mirrorless camera purchase and embrace it even with its weight, and take it to my next trip. Though, I know I'll just do the same as before and use my phone mostly 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'll never learn 🤷🏻‍♀️ So after finishing watching your video: the quality of all the footage were good because you had a beautiful bright day. But I think if it wasn't that bright, your mirrorless would save it. That's the thing-the quality of mirrorless is so good, and versatile in any moment, but it sucks to carry!!

I really appreciate you sharing. It's a struggle that I resonate with. I like your point about the weather. They all look great because it's a bright day. I will add that iPhone and gopro don't look good in interiors as well - for example inside the ice cream shop there are two shots filmed with my mirrorless and they look very good while the gopro looks very dirty 😅 Thanks again!

I see many “zoomed” iphone12pro shots right? These shots are digital zoomed in? Or u are using something for that?

It has a 2x zoom which is a full frame 52mm equivalent, so not super zoomed. Yes there are a few shots where I zoom beyond that, which are then digital zoom. I find the quality to be sufficient for KZbin
