True but that case has no place for an optical drive. I think most pc cases are that way now. Also the last I checked, the emulator doesn't play nicely with external optical drives connected via USB.

You also can emulate some "light" PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii U games. You will have to test each game to see with ones gets acceptable frames. Some emulator still young and as they gets more optimized more games will become playable for low end systems.

I built a very similar sytem to that in the Inwin Chopin. I had to remove the shroud and hack the lip away. Made it sit flush with the fan blades and gave it more room to breathe. Without trying to push the cover off. Also used a 3200g with 8gb dual channel memory. Planning on adding a sata m.2 for added storage later. Great system for older games and casuals.

@@CuisineArt I have noticed it doesn't like the stock settings on the a320 motherboard. Will actually fail to boot entirely. Damn I was kinda hoping maybe there would be info about streaming services. I think I read that the Netflix app from the Windows store does 4k, HBO Max and Disney + for example won't do 4K on PC cause of DRM issues. While a smart tv sucks at times, at least those apps do 4k through streaming services. I have a older itx PC with a i5 6600 and it can't quite do all the same stuff as your PC, I was hoping to do 4k video streaming and some emulation. I think sadly it might just a emulation PC.

ROM's aren't inherently bad, or illegal, there is actually a legal way to get roms. The big nono is downloading a rom from someone else, especially if you doon't own a physical version of the game. If you make your own rom of a game as a backup, it's legal. Outside of that, the only way to legally download a rom is if it were sold to you by the people who own the game's intellectual property.

That said I can't wait for those ZEN 2 APU-s to come because they are supposed to have up to 8c/16t and a VEGA APU :) woohoo, those will be actually usable for some work in the living room :).

PS2 in retroarch is still beta.. You currently can't get smooth performance out of over 90% of the compatible games, no matter what settings you use. Amazingly enough, the Play! emulator they used for the PS2 core actually has no options for upscaling, nor hacks to smooth out the inaccurate timing and sound hiccups.

Hello! Lovely build, I'm planning to buy the inWin B1 as soon as there are Thunderbolt4 MINI-ATX. I need a portable i9 gen 11 workstation and Intel NUCs are expensive/hardly upgradable; at home the idea is to plug a thunderbolt 4 eGPU (obviously the eGPU encasing has its own PSU) What's stopping me is the stock fan noise, everyone is reporting. Do you think that with a high-end third party 80mm it can be easily fixed? Ergo, the problem is the stock inWIN80mm or? Also, is the inWin logo removable in some way? maybe chemically? Or is it etched? Thanks!
