My previous mobo ended up like this, it happened so sudden the previous day it was fine but the next day it died... Bought a better used replacement and transfer everything onto the new board and pc worked again

My zotac 3060 seems fine,that is 12gb.Unless i profile it the fan rarely comes on.I set an idle at 25%.I did not like the stock setting.I like to know the fan is always working.With my AC on it got so cold my pc crashed.That never happened to my FX.But my AM4 does not like the cold either does the gpu.

so I had a similar problem like yours, the GPU was a PCIE 4.0 , but the riser was 3.0 , unless you set 3.0 in the bios, it will not boot with that GPU, so every time I updated the bios, it will reset to PCIE 4.0 and the PC will fail to post , having to plug it in to the slot itself and then reset it in bios. It does help if you have a PC speaker ( beeper ) attached or some sort of post indicator. just my 2cents , no affiliation :)

By today's standard. Any ssd under 1 TB is a scam. Especially if you game the latest big titles. They'd hog over a fifth of those 500 GB drivers. As I have no idea about components very much. I barely dare to vacuum or clean them out of fear I will break something. So my first instinct would be using a tool to check if power even came out of the GPU ports.

Minus the gpu, get a used 5700xt for 170 bucks, 30 bucks more for a 60 bucks power supply and you got a 2K gaming PC for 700 bucks

have you tried running the system with a CPU with integrated graphics? Also if you think the riser fried the motherboard, you can do some insulation test on it.

Something is grounding the bracket of the gpu just check if its touching the metal part either of motherboard of with any metal surface touching electric part of motherboard

Motherboard might just be a bad bios update. Can flash it using a usb memory stick. 100% worth a try.

If the system doesn't have a display of the POST codes connect a system speaker. I'm talking about the beeping kind hated by so many that a lot of people doesn't even know what is it. During POST a failure will be reported with a beep code. A successful POST is signaled by a single beep. Now check the beep code against the BIOS manufacturers signal table and it will tell you where the POST halted. Even if you don't bother to check the beep code table you at least get a signal. Change memory, graphics card or what ever and test again and see if the signal changes.

I belive cheap Asus pre-builds arent even worth the review time (ofc its a sarcasm) But what I don't see anyone doing is reviewing 2 of Much Better pre-build systems of theirs. It's wide G35(I think) and a new Compact system that is smaller than ps5. BOTH not only seem to have Very Solid components but also cooling systems are Night and Day comparing to cheaper pre-builds as well as they on part if not Better in a lot of cases when compared to a good pre-builds of today.

This seriously needs an follow up as it's very intriguing to find out if it ever worked after cleaning it up, my guess it did work fine after a nice cleaning and letting it dry completely.
