The Panhandle of Florida is where I am originally from. A place called Carrabelle on the Gulf Coast. It’s is East of Apalachicola. I love seeing videos from NW Florida it make me homesick. I now live near Seattle where bass fishing sucks. It’s sad when people post their PBs online and it’s of a bass that’s maybe a pound. I found out fishing techniques I used in Florida for warm water fish don’t translate well for cold water species. Definitely a difference between fishing for bass and crappie then there is for trout and salmon.

Really cool video. I just got back from fishing in punta gorda. Caught a 40 inch florida gar, mangrove snapper, sail catfish and a sea trout that was a keeper. finding a 10 inch mangrove snapper was almost impossible for me though.

The lakes in florida are really popping with fish right now. I live in a neighborhood called Deerfield preserve and we have a huge lake, whatever you cast they will bite, I’ve caught a few 6 pounders too. Anyways keep up the great work, I always love a new Lojo video, keep fishing bro.

When I was a kid in the 1980s and I caught my first croaker I about freaked when I heard the croak coming from my bucket. Use to fish the mouth Carrabelle River. Caught Croaker, specks, flounder, etc. and an eel every once in awhile. I hated catching eel. I don’t miss bait stealing pinfish.

When you handle trout wet your hand first because they have a protective coat and its easier to handle instead of a dry hand and slippery coat coming off onto your hands. Nice catches tho always good seeing you getting out of your element! Keep up the good content! 👍🏽

The last football game I played in High School was against Freeport HS in 1985. I may or may not have started a fight after the game because of their talking smack on way off the field. It was a bad year for Carrabelle HS, football field was destroyed twice by Hurricanes Elena and Kate. We went 0-9. Our coach sucked. We would practice all week for the game and he would toss out the playbook and run things we didn’t work on. I was pissed and someone from Freeport set me off. All 120 lbs of me facing down the other team. Yep, 120lbs 5’9” started both offense as Wideout, TE, and Corner and safety on defense. Even defensive end a few times. I was fast with good hands and reflexes. Yep, I did get steam rolled a few times but I’d pop up for next play. Sorry about going on but these videos make me think of back home in NW Florida. Thank you.
