Ferg,Dat is one BEAST and fighting it from a yak did give ya a nice advantage as he had to pull ya around!!Congrats,I have a funny story to relate. Many, many years ago I was fishing outta one of my fleet of Chapman pirogues, launched outta Cane Bayou and once I got to the mouth, headed E towards Goose Point and was tossing a soft plastic and ended up catching a fine 18 in speck, slightly bigger red and a black drum about same size as the red and all of a sudden started catching MONSTER reds and black drum and folks on shorelines, crabbing, probably thought I was snagged on bottom with the extreme bow in my fishing pole.Called my wife and told her I had three fine fish in small chest,NO way had room for not only another fish but certainly no room for MONSTERS!!!More fun than de law allows!!

@@anthonycyprusjr7829 that’s an awesome story! I finally got on the trout in lacombe this past spring. I want to fish the reef out there but it’s too far for comfort in the yak.
