I finally caught up on King-Ohger...

Well, I am a man of my word, and in a frantic haste to make it in time for the finale, I caught up on our regal rangers, Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger! I know I threw out some slander in my original video about this Sentai, so now that I've revisited and finished it, I'd like to share some updated thoughts on this monumental show in a slightly shorter video than usual. Zenkaiger never interested me and Donbrothers I’m still on the fence about watching (I’m leaning towards yes at the moment) but King Ohger was the first Sentai that made me say “I don’t care how, I am watching this”. So I found it and finished it yesterday. Best idea I’ve had all year. This is honestly almost as good as Timeranger and Jetman and definitely as good as the best parts of Dairanger. I have some issues with the second half (Dugded really annoyed me a bit) but overall I loved this show and BoonBoomger has some Shaq-sized shoes to fill!

I definitely gotta watch it. Tbh I haven't been watching toku in a while, kinda phasing out of it. But, King Ohger has my absolute favorite suit designs in recent years. The 6th ranger suit is also nuts. Gotta peep

King ohger in general, feels like that they toke an big risk, with this series considering the budget of the show seems to be higher then a average super sentai series. I loved it king ohger, thou as jt isnt imperfect its my second super sentai series after my donbrother's, but I do really enjoy the premise on it. Thou i did genuinely love Jeramie, as an 6th ranger idk what it is but i just loved his motivation (thought, this might be me being somewhat biased as an mixed race person i know jeramies fictional but it hits to me) Edit: the final 3 episodes feel really nice thou, felt like an movie

Well my favourite is Gokaiger. Kingohger (and also LuPat) got me excited in Sentai again. Donbrothers, while good in some aspects, pissed me off because the final execution was a miss and people forget that it's extremely flawed in story and character arcs.

Donbrothers kept me hooked every week, Kingohger I was like...I'll let many episode pass by and then Itadakimasu~ Never really felt the need to keep up until the final arc.

Here is a list of my possible ideas for the 49th Super Sentai series after Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger ends next year. The first is a time travel and time period-themed Sentai, whereas the rangers represent different time periods. Red (♂) is Feudal Japan so he’s a Samurai or a rōnin. Blue (♂) is the Ice Age so he’s a caveman with a club. Black (♂) is the Golden Age of Piracy so he’s a pirate and Blackbeard-inspired. Yellow (♀) is the Wild West so she’s a cowgirl. Either a pink, purple, or white ranger (♀) is Medieval England so she’s a dame. And the sixth ranger is gold (♂) and he represents Ancient Egypt so he’s a pharaoh. The second is an ocean-themed Sentai, whereas all the weapons, mecha, and other gimmicks are fish-themed. Red (♂) is a crab or lobster. Green (♂) is a sea turtle. Yellow (♂) is a seagull. Blue (♀) is a dolphin. Pink (♀) is a seahorse. And the sixth ranger is white (♂) and he’s a great white shark. The third Sentai is themed after mythological creatures, the occult, and cryptids, whereas the rangers represent different mythical creatures or folklore from around the world. I wanted to use the same color scheme as Changeman as a callback to its mythology theme. Red (♂) is Sun Wukong. Blue (♂) is Fenrir. Black (♂) is Garuda. Pink (♀) is Bastet. White (♀) is Cernunnos. And the sixth ranger is green (♂) and he’s Quetzalcoatl. The fourth and final idea is a sport-themed Sentai, whereas the rangers represent sports. The core five rangers also have the same colors as the five Olympic rings. Red (♂) is boxing. Black (♂) is soccer. Green (either ♂ or ♀) is tennis. Blue (either ♂ or ♀) is swimming. Yellow (♀) is gymnastics. And the sixth ranger is silver and he plays hockey.

Avengers Endgame is not a good standard for airtight logic btw. It has large plot holes that are, when combined, is enough to fit Thanos' entire fleet. It's very egregious to the point where fans questions caught the writers off guard.

Making my way through it now. I like it generally, there are parts that really annoy me... namely the red's laughing. The other times he is a decent red. The black ranger though really doesn't sit well with me. I understand his character and all, but I do feel that the execution i not done that well. So far the only character that really pisses me off is that side character that carries a broom and just blindly worships the king of the red ranger's kingdom.

Summary for KingOhger (IMO) Bugnarok Arc : 15/10 Galactinsect Arc: 8/10 I think post Bugnarok arc is the lowest point of KingOhger. Kinda boring IMO.

This was way too serious after Ryusoulger. Also, the season didn’t have any filler and focused on the main story A LOT. There wasn’t any character development either. A 6.5/10.
