Howdy Jake! You did a phenomenal job, I loved your video! Your railroad is already looking fantastic and I can’t wait to see what else you come up with! Just a couple tips for ya, idk if you have seen it yet, but in my last update I included the “fence” track that you talked about. It’s great for long straight stretches! And also, when you pulled the CSX loco into the siding and then attempted to connect to the back side with the BNSF loco, you can accomplish that if you disconnect all the cars from each other first with the CSX loco by holding shift and then hitting your disconnect key. Then when you pull the BNSF around to the back side, you can reconnect all the cars together from the back side without having to turn them around. It’s a limitation of giants game engine unfortunately that you cant connect to the back side of a long string of connected implements. I wish I could fix that myself!

Haha but yeah go check it out, I just updated them all again last night! I think I really improved the stability and reduced derailments, and also added real horns and bells Thank you so much! I’ve had a lot of fun getting this to all come together. Learned a lot about modeling and modding in FS, and I have really enjoyed seeing everybody use and enjoy my mods!

I have learned that when you try to hook a new train to the other side, you need to unhook all the cars from each other and then rehook them up with the train from the end you want.

I would absolutely love for someone to teach me how to play this game correctly. I’ve started up my own Taheton county and I just got through the first harvest and I’m a little lost with what to do with the field😂😅 but you and your pops got me into fs22 the game is great and so are you guys !!

Next time for realism, a train would have a hopper car/coal car between the start and end of a tanker train and so you don't get confused it's the locos then the coal car then the tankers same rule for the end with the coal cart

Fun fact: you can drift a train Is this mod for fs19 aswell? 22 dont work no matter what i do Also as a railfan i abosolutley love the amount of effort in this mod, bnsf does have a 6410 does exist but in a diffrent model. So im ausseming you work for UP (union pacific) because BNSF nor CSX work in madison county iowa (is that the right place?).

I found out from the modder that when you do a go around. You have to uncouple all the cars. Start from the back and use Control Q to uncouple all of them. Then reconnect from the new train coupling them back up

In all honesty, this mod brings my 2 favourite hobbies together: trains and farming. In all honesty itd be an absolute dream come true if Giants teamed up with either N3V games of the Trainz series or Dovetail of TSW to implement such a system into Farm sim. Alas, i doubt it'd get very far without some idiotic bucko saying "iTs FaRmInG SiMuLaTOr not TrAiN SiMuLaTor" just the same as some people poo-poo'd my idea to implement herding snimals into the next game (which lets be honest if we had that, plus the train stuff implemented it'd add to the experience of trying to move sheep or cattle across the railroad crossing before a loaded freight train comes thundering by and bulldozing them...

Put one engine on the correct side then attach the back one like you would a trailer, then just keep an engine on either side

How were you able to use both the existing in game track with the mod track. I’m trying and keep getting a detail at the switch. Also just curious how can you suppress the in game train so it doesnt come through and wreck into you.

You have the swap out the switch tracks for the mod version and just connect into the original line. You have to be very careful to get it perfectly or you’ll derail. Use Map Object Hider Mod to remove things that need replaced along the original tracks.
