I had the mossborn hydra version of this deck sleeved up for an RCQ last weekend that was cancelled do to snow and rescheduled as a limited pre release rcq.

This deck could use a realmbreaker tree artifact, I use it in my golgari. 3 mana artifact, 2 mana tap to mill 3 from target players (crime source) and return 1 land from that graveyard to the battlefield under your control which would trigger your landfall sources also.

The first deck I made mythic with was an outlaw Jund crime brew. Used Vial Smasher, Gleeful Grenadier to trigger Freestrider Lookout on ETB. Vial Smasher works well with all the lizards and Gisa, which effectively does 3 damage on ETB. Ran Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin as the only non-outlaw to take advantage of all the single damage pings, it was a fun deck.

I really enjoy scanvanging ooze or the new double green raccoon for maindeck lifegain/gravehate/gorwing threats and extra crime Trigger instant speed on demand, and i also the artifact/enchantment removal guy, the 1 Mana colorless, sac gain 2 Exile something, really really nice, What i also Playalot in this Deck is lively dirge, its Just aaaamaaazing with the 1 Mana Landfall Guy and the green crime Dude. Also getting, ooze or and bat, or the 1 Mana mite, Just amazing, whats also a consideration is for me, past weeks is to go down on sunken citadel and play the dapped ping deserts, getting the crime for freestrider of just a landdrop is amazing, and im gonna say IT like that, vineslasher and the ping deserts add up crazy fast. Often pinging them down to 10-13 life without attacking, I also really enjoy playing one of glissa for the overloards and beeing a great Blocker, also good to tutor with lively dirge, and also some varriety of good 4 drops, But this Deck is just awesome

No Main Deck surveil lands? For me they work brilliantly with the freestrider, and also very nice with the lively dirge

I have like 6-7 different versions of this Deck What also works great for me is a one of Whats it called, the black spree rare sorcery Which makes target opponent sacrifice half/ discard half, or loose half Life, workes great, crime Trigger and also a really great way to get more value of the crazy ramp that freestrider provides

I also tried gisa alot but its just Not that good, ... If you come up to 5 Mana, + a crime Trigger, plus an upkeep, normaly you are Just winning What i Play instead is the saddle gitrog monster, Getting to saddle and sac, the dreadknight which is a great place to be, or sacing the big creatures with +1/+1 counters ist great and getting the 6/5 haste trample is sometimes exactly what this Deck needs And getting to draw atack for 6 trample damage on turn 4 with then drawing the 3 cards from gitrog sacrificing the dreadknight and getting 3 extra landdrops with the vineslasher in play is busted, and then getting to replay the dreadknight to draw a card and getting it back in play to saddle the gitrog again to redo it all again is busted good

Nice brew and also all of the games you played were against really weird decks. Felt like I was watching a completely different meta. Rough sledding against that Jeskai equipment deck though. You really didn't draw your most important cards in either of those matchups, which was pretty rough. This deck is neat, but seems a little too dependent on the Vinelasher coming down to give you a real wincon.

Mtga match making algorithm is weird. I've been playing for 2 months. Grinded to mythic the first month. Sitting in diamond now. And I haven't seen one crimes deck. You play it and run into someone eles playing crimes?? What's the chances.

The card values they admitted to using for Brawl matches have to apply to other formats as well. I find that when I brew random stuff I often get matched against mirrors or I'll repeatedly get matched against the same deck. My conclusion is that the overall deck "score" based on the number of rares/mythics or the assigned power value of the cards in my deck is a near match to the deck that I keep getting paired against.

Hi Dev, in your second match you are facing the Mossborn Hydra. Why not add the Hydra to your own deck? Ik play this splashing to blue. Adding Mockinbirds, Ordeal of Nyleas. The combination of tall Hydra and hard to prevent pings from vinelasher is wicked. Putting 2 Nyleas on one creature netts you 4 landgall triggers. You can also opt to have Green as main color and blue and black secondary. What do you think?

I've been thinking about this build recently. Fade Into History seems really good in this meta in this style of deck maybe as a two of in the main. Would Ygra also work then with it's combo potential with Fade? Or at 5 mana would it be too slow?
