@ I saw a video with Billy Gibbons where he said he gets his sound from a Boss EQ pedal and pushes the 400 all the way up. I tried it but I didn’t sound like him…🤷‍♂️

@@herroglop7411 I wanted to, but when I bought the Red Llama is was sold out and was a lot more expensive when it came back in store at Thomann. Still curious about the Chupacabra though, so who knows, I might eventually try it. But I still own the Red Llama and I'm still happy with it!

Have you tried a Fulltone OCD pedal? It has a fuzz like overdrive type feel to it.

It's been a while I've tried one of those. I liked them better on bass as far as I remember!

Really great the tone with the Les Paul is really close to early ZZ Top ! Does it work as a solo boost on a driven amp ?

Thanks! I haven't tried that, but I'm sure that could work, although it would depend on your core sound. For a solo boost I personally like a pedal that cuts some low end, adds a little mid puch and supplies more volume to cut through the mix. To me this feels more like a character overdrive for when you need that sound.
