For Christmas back in the 90's, I gave my brother the soundtrack for the SNES game, Chrono Trigger. It's from Japan, 3 or 4 CDs, with a booklet loaded with art from the game and tons of Japanese script that I can't understand. I bought it at and anime store that eventually closed down. Also, I got loads of Animerica magazines from there. Remember those?

@@tommythrowback awesome video. I’m a former collector and I had to stop I ended up selling all of my collection it was so hard for me to do but I needed to take my life back. People don’t realize what happens when you start collecting. I Had a very serious problem people laugh but it consumed me I Go anywhere I thought I could find something I didn’t have and part of my sickness was I didn’t look at a price tag. I literally disguised vacations with my family into video game excursions. I wish I would’ve been a little smarter about it and had fun with it because it didn’t become fun in the end. You’re doing it the right way and have a blast while doing it

People don’t understand that that is so true. I did something wrong when I started collecting because by the end it was not fun for me anymore my whole life was consumed and nothing matter to me except video games. Especially game boys the hardest thing I had to do in my life was sell my collection but I needed my life back Cause I was about to lose my family over it. Obviously you guys are doing it the right way because you’re having fun enjoy.

I did say hi to the game chasers off camera and with Tyler from My Retro Life, but I’ll be honest with you. I’m pretty new to watching retro game hunting on YT, and YT kept sending me retro rick videos which I really enjoyed. It’s ok if you don’t like him, but I don’t think you need to compare him to game chasers or call him a sellout. For me, it was pretty exciting to watch Rick grow in followers and success on YT which is the hardest platform to grow on. I wish everyone in this video game industry success because in the next 20-30 years no one might even care about NES or older games anymore.
