A v-band work well to seal and join the bypass vs the silicone hose. Takes some time though....

If you don't have a belt hole punch tool, it's handy for making gaskets.

I wanna put one on my 94 5.0 but everyone tells me not to bc they heat soak really bad. What are your thoughts on that?
@KASLCustoms5 ай бұрын
Yes they are known for making heat. That is why I am also going to run a meth kit along side it 👍
@richlong41196 ай бұрын
There’s a reason you don’t see that style super charger on these cars. Because they are a pain 😂
@waltersibelius50236 ай бұрын
Normally you just bolt on a new kit, no more issues then others. This is a different story what he went through
@Noobz-3476 ай бұрын
I've had mine installed since 2001 and have not had a lick of trouble. When the stock engine wore out I put Dart stroker underneath it. It certainly takes more time to remove and install if say, you just wanted to pull valve covers or something. Once it's installed correctly, there is really nothing you need to do. The reason you don't see as many is because they never produced the [peak] horsepower numbers that centrifugal blowers do. These are great because they make power [everywhere]. Bringing this hacked up kit back from the dead is nothing short of amazing. Fingers crossed that it works out well.

Man....if you think this KB is a pain.....smh. Bolting down the Lysholm twin screw made for Kenne by Autorotor was a breeze compared to an Incon TT kit for a Fox. You don't see many of them for several reasons and those would be beholden to Kenne and possibly Corky. Things smoothed over after a few years and Kenne kept at it with the 4.6 2v and then the 4v. Oh my did they catch on. I'm sure the rest can be read elsewhere. Despite the highest adiabatic efficiency of any supercharger at that time, it was limited without intercooling. Until it wasn't.....

I use to have this blower on my notch & overheated all the time. Just me tho
@KASLCustoms6 ай бұрын
Yeah they do make a lot of heat…
@arturozarate17526 ай бұрын
Nice, I've air to air'd a dozen of these. Why wouldn't you intercool it?!?!?!?!?
@KASLCustoms6 ай бұрын
You would have to watch the first few videos I did of when I bought it (used) to understand the whole story. I would be here writing for days to try and explain

Awesome stuff, and great news. Now comes the 7" or 8" ugly as $hit cowl hood that doesn't belong on the car, doesn't fit right and totally different color to hide that good looking Kenne Bell blower. Can't wait bud.
