When I was a kid, I loved to going to Sears with my family and watch the dishwashers that had the glass front so that we could see how the dishwasher was cleaning.(Obviously we didn't have a lot of entertainment back in the old days.) I haven't seen a glass door dishwasher in decades.

Now that we have our dishwasher plumbed it is so much easier than filling it with the pitcher. We basically turned our countertop dishwasher into a built in one. Pro tip though, after you run the cycle and it’s done drying, open it up and pull the dish rack out to finish air drying. Also leave a crack in the door to allow air to circulate when not using it.

I’m rather surprised at how well it worked. I never thought about having a dishwasher for camping.😊

Dave here - while I was still working, I paraphrased a line from Eve Arden in the movie " Grease" for my customers. They did all the nasty jobs at a nuclear power plant and I prepared the special tools and related equipment for them to support their work. I told them "You can call me by my French name, Jacques Strap, because I am not an athlete, but I am an athletic supporter!"

You could put in out on the table, use outside water to fill, let it drain on the ground or bucket. No grey water fill or using your own tank water. Win win

We have the exact same dishwasher in our camper. My wife can use 5 gallons of water where this "machine" only uses 1.5 gallons. And yes, I read the manual too. Although it left a smig of whistle berries on the spoon, not bad. We got it for water savings.

It’s great that it has a water reservoir and I’d sit it in the shower like I do our washer. 🙂 Did you know that your water heater gets hotter if you use the propane compared to the electric heater. Ours get piping hot so washing dishes clean is really easy. But if that thing can clean the tea stains off of my China mugs it would be worth it 😁

What he read the manual!! 😃 score! 😂 Ok now this is super cool! I hate dishes, severe force all the time. Condo has dishwasher I thank the gods for that! Only this is too big for truck camper.....dam! lol. Hope u find a spot for it in your new rig, just imagine loading it up n bam, back outside u go in a flash! 🍻

Hello Lawrence & Natalie It is a fabulous idea & what seems to be a good product. But I have to agree with you Lawrence, if there are only 2 of you, itseems unnecessary. My argument would be it takes as much energy & time to set up , load , unload, & put away as just washing by hand. The space issue would come into play in almost any Rig as well. That being said there is a market for it but not stuck on the RV nitch Cheers 🥃

Well I looked at those on Amazon and almost bought one . Our class C is big but it still takes space up. We’d have to put it under the dinette table if we got one. But so far two hands have been doing the job.

Quite interesting. I've wondered about those mini dish washers. I would love to know how well they last. Does anyone have one? Home dishwashers seem to be the second shortest lived major appliances for sticks and bricks. Microwaves the shortest life expectancy for sure. Re using it outdoors - make sure you know the campground regulations first. Most all I am familiar with don't want you to dump dirty dishwater or grey water on the ground. Attracts animals, flies, and the detergents hurt the grass, plants, animals. Great demo Lawrence and Natalie!
