Welcome to Borneo! Yes. When I was 8, I went to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and I was lucky to be able to hug and carry a baby orangutan then. Did you know that the most well known orangutan rehabilitation centre in the world is located in Sepilok Sandakan, Sabah? While the orangutan centre is the most famous attraction at Sepilok there are a number of other excellent places to visit in the wider Sepilok area. These include the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC), the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary and Rainforest Discovery Centre. Hope you’ll visit Sabah next! Take care and stay safe. Yes, it’s hotter there so stay hydrated!

it's not "choco". it's pronounced "cow cow". (of course it's nothing to do with the cow in the field). some call "cow cow" but most of time I just call it "milo cow".and here's a tip. u need to order the drink from a restaurant because if u buy it from night market,the milo already tasteless.because of ice melting for hours. in restaurant,they will make the drink on the spot.the milo kaw should be filled by dense of milo and you should taste the milo thickness.that's the one u should look for.

@@josieliftsthings Josie, the best and real Milo drink always at Restaurant e.g Mamak restaurant. To be honest most of the night market and hawkers selling a Cocoa drinks, NOT a Milo. It's cheaper, but the taste is "cheap" too. Some mamak restaurants also using Milo popular competitor which is "Vico" brand. Almost the same taste, but I still can differentiate the original luxury taste of Milo than others - just my one cent opinion. OH! Is this because they can get fruit in the wild anyway? So they don’t need to come?? That’s interesting!
@bungaialoevera2 жыл бұрын
Yes. What they get at Semenggoh is just supplement (food to help them get by when their supply is low). The food aren’t meant to entirely feed them. So, if you want to have more opportunity to see them, come when it is not fruit season… usually mid year-ish. We went last July… which is not fruit session. Take note that Sarawak has a “do not feed wildlife” policy.

I'm not sure I should be telling you this, but I got some sad news from you after what you said about your favorite animal. I'm currently in Cusco, Peru where you can eat Cuy (guinea pig, pronounced "Coo-ee", also available in Ecuador). I came to Peru from Bogotá, Colombia, where you can eat Carpincho (capybara). I won't say if I ate either and/or both; so you can speculate. I will, however, admit that I have eaten alpaca here in Peru and chapulín when I was in Mexico. On a positive note, I did see Milo in the supermarkets shelves in both Colombia and Peru. Also, if you ever visit Mexico, then you have to try Mexican street corn (elote).

@@josieliftsthings I doubt you'll find many places in the world, where you'd be able to eat elephant. Drinking Milo wherever you go, however would at least be possible. I've never had Milo myself, so I can only assume it's a cold version of hot chocolate. One strange hot chocolate experience I did have was in Bogotá, Colombia. At the oldest restaurant in Bogotá, La Puerta Falsa, I ordered a tamal with a hot chocolate. The tamal was excellent. The hot chocolate comes with bread, butter and a small wedge of cheese. When the hot chocolate arrives at your table, your supposed to break up all the cheese into little pieces and put them in the hot chocolate. You then eat the slightly melted cheese with a spoon, like it was sweet and savory soup.

Unless you mean fahrenheit, 20-30 degrees hotter than Penang would mean you're burnt to the crisp 🤣
