It's so funny to watch someone play AC when they're untainted by the villager hierarchy. I was screaming when he got Shino, and it's almost unbelievable that that's his least favorite! It's kinda wholesome honestly, definitely makes me reconsider my perspective on dreamy culture.

Playing Ac honestly is so chaotic while being so calm at the same time, like the game literally barely has requirements, but we still are able to make it so chaotic…and I love that I grew upward AC starting from Wild World so seeing someone discover all its glory for the first time is so fun

i haven't finished watching yet so i'm not sure if this gets brought up but a tip: don't feel pressured to pick a theme and fully decorate your island! a lot of people seem to think that it's the point of the game but enjoy the game how you want to enjoy it! a lot of people get burnt out because of decoration/pressure to decorate

That definitely happened with me, and I felt SO relieved after restarting my island with a more casual mindset. I think the issue is that after a while the only thing to do IS decorate, so if you're not very good at it, it can make you feel pretty rough lol

I'd do the same for Rosie, Lolly, Kiki, Katt, Felicity, and Bob (haha noticing a pattern here?? 😹😻 I LOVE cats! 😺) For the other dreamies I'd do that for..they'd be Stitches, Deli, Gabi, Hopkins, Henry, Cube, Puck, Rod, Samson, Filbert, Iggly (omg so many to name!) 🙀 The best way to get the dreamies you want is by animal crossing amiibo cards or by a Switch Amiijoy pro controller which has all the villagers built into it. Very helpful tools if you play Animal Crossing a lot. (I have 800 hours of playtime under my belt!!)

This was a fun watch. I had it on while I was playing the game myself. I'm actually not a big live stream person. I don't have the attention span to sit and watch someone slowly meander through a game. I need the boring parts edited out. BUT, I've been loving turning Animal Crossing streams and vods on while I play New Horizons myself. It's a nice chill time. Just to give my two cents on the "morality of time skipping". I don't think it matters one way or the other. But I personally would recommend against doing it if you can. I definitely get the want to rush things a bit to get stuff done. And if this were any other Animal Crossing game before New Horizons, I'd say go for it. But the thing with New Horizons, is that they give the player a lot of stuff to do. Like, just general STUFF to keep you playing and give you stuff to do while you wait for the next day. The previous games really didn't. New Leaf tried to with the Meow Coupons, but the fact that they had a daily limit meant you'd still run out of things to do. They really just added like, an extra 10-15 minutes onto your play time. But with New Horizons, you have the infinitely generating Nook Miles challenges. Nook Miles can be used for more decorative items, app upgrades, more stuff unlocked in general, as well as two different kinds of mystery island tours. And then there's the DLC that adds pretty much the entirety of Happy Home Designer into New Horizons, with the benefit of being able to use every item and new building options that it adds, in your main island. As well as eventually even customizing villager homes. And then there's the whole custom designs and custom clothing thing. And the other various online sharing things. And then everything else the game already had, like the outside decorating and terraforming and stuff. I just don't really see a real need to time skip in New Horizons. In the other games, sure, but in NH, they gave you plenty of things to do to keep you busy until tomorrow when your stuff happens. Plus rushing the game kinda ruins the chill slow-paced vibe it's got goin on. Like, it's not Stardew Valley where you can rush a huge chunk of stuff right away, or Minecraft where you can have diamonds within the first 15-20 minutes if you just rush to a cave and grab a bunch of iron. Like, you're meant to take your time and relax, chill. Do things as you go. Wander around, talk to villagers, move plants around, make a custom design and make a little path around the island (at least until you unlock real paths). Just kinda, hang out. *BUT*, that's not to say you SHOULDN'T do it, like it's a law. If you do it, and don't care, and you're enjoying it still, then by all means go for it. Do what you want. I can't tell you what to do. It's just my opinion.
