I Finally played Pokerogue! Pokemon Roguelike

Today ill be trying to make it all the way to the end of the classic mode beating level 200 and this is no easy task!

Your first Gym battle comes at either Level 20 or Level 30, then you get one every 30 battles. It's set in stone, just like your rival battles (8, 25, 55, 95, 145 and 195), the boss every 10 waves and the pokecenter heal after it. And yes, I'd LOVE to see more of this (I just subbed)

I'm surprised you lost to Eternatus, because everybody in the community views Ivy as the final boss, and Eternatus as kind of a pushover in comparison.

Tbf you have to build for eternatus ahead of time otherwise the fight gets out of hand fast, with ivy, aside for building for mega ray, you just kind of need a very solid core. I won’t be suprised if they fix leech seed because of how much it fodderizes so many bosses, especially eternatus.

Its simple... people overbuild for Ivy and then when it comes down to eternatus well...if you dont have steel or fairy in your team, you are screwed

I’m still amazed by how many absurd moves and abilities the creators gave Pokémon, ie: the amount of random Pokémon with the signature moves of legendaries and mythicals. Not to mention Bidoof with Neuroforce literally Ultra Necrozma’s ability and *cough* *cough* Huge Power Tink-a-Ton *cough* *cough*

The egg move gatcha is actually cracked. Pokemon have new egg moves. If you plan on doing future runs, you can get some insane stuff like double iron bash riolu, or boomburst ralts (which is op with pixilate mega gardevoir)

Quick tip, use a fairy and/or and ice type, it makes rayquaza so easy. Tbh using meowscarada with play rough will even do the trick. That’s how I 2 shot the rayquaza at 145.
