Also (unless i have it wrong) there was times u could have caught mons but didnt because of typings so for example dylan had a bug type but was saying he couldn't catch it because shady had paris. My understanding was u couldn't have the same typing on ur own teams but unlike normal soul links dylan and shady can both have the same types on there team they just cant have multiple or link the same types to each other

Rule related stuff. Multiple times Dylan mentioned having to remove the sentret pair if Shady caught a normal type. At the start you mentioned the type rules were per pair and one of each type per team(6 unique each not 12 unique total). Each of you have a grass, fire, and water type, you can both have a normal type. This doesn’t break your rules. Secondly releasing dead mons. During any floor or battle you can release Pokémon in your party at any time. Leaving the dead mons in your party can cause confusion, you have to release them. I suggest if a Mon dies, for example on floor 20 to the gym leader, the Pokémon linked to it can be used to beat floor 20 but gets released immediately on floor 21. Lastly, I suggest you allow reviver seeds. Odds are you won’t have them. But, if you do get them, it stops you from losing stat buffs which means technically you never fainted.

@@the25thjordan76as someone who’s made it five thousand floors into endless i promise u dont want 40 episodes of a single level 2000 pokemon spamming setup moves or stalling every boss and one shotting every wild in the most brainless fashion possible. u dont even use 6 u bring 1 carry 1 backup 3 defensive pivots nd 1 slot to catch and release so u can steal wild held items. there is no thought u spam one nove 90% of floors and then every 250 u have to think for 5 seconds

You can release a mon from the switch menu, not only will this help eliminate confusion on whos alive, it will also make the game stop giving you revives, which means better items. Great work dads cant wait to be one soon™

Just a little tip for a good play through for you guys! Pokemon insurgence is a very good game that you could play together. It has a build-in random mode with encounters and items. Here is a bit of advice: If you guys find a Meowth at all, CATCH IT! Meowth can help make money for you early game with Pay Day & it has Fake Out from the start making it an amazing early game mon especially if it has Technician. Also, if in future recordings one of the pairs you have has a purple box around it, use that pair so your mons get Pokerus. Lastly, I checked the PokeRouge wiki & the Hisui starters evolve into their Hisuian forms at their normal evolution levels but ONLY at either dusk or night. This applies to other mons with Hisuian form evolutions like Goomy for example. Hopefully this helps. Wishing you guys luck.

I managed to beat my first Classic Pokerogue with a Shedinja yesterday! It was truly an MVP for positioning around too and keeping the rest of the team safe, but I can see it being too risky a gamble in a nuzlocke like this. This looks SO hard, best of luck.

If I can make one suggestion to help ease confusion on who’s lost, especially after a route change and party heal, you can release a pokemon at any time, so when it dies, just release both pairs so there’s no questions.

Btw just so you know whismur is op boomburst exploud for me personally carried me till around lvl 150. It also gets hyper voice for double battles(you CANNOT use boomburst in doubles especially if your second Pokémon is frail because boomburst hit ur team).

Dude me and my brother just started our very own soul link on a very first radical red play through ever (normal mode) a couple of days ago and it’s been a blast we’ve been having a great time. We lost the test run mostly because we were figuring out controls and such but the real first run has been going great we just beat Giovanni yesterday for the first time and it was a close call only surviving down to one pair on red hp and I’ve never had so much fun gaming with family before. Also great video and a fun soul link challenge I’m not a dad just a dude who supports two of my favorite dads have a great day everyone

Just in the future Pokemon who's secondary type stays with Evo is what me and my friend use as "primary" in soullinks , so fletching is "primary" Flying as normal changes to fire
